PIRATECRAFT

This is PIRATECRAFT. A nice voxel game to cash in on that Minecraft user with a neat little pirate theme. It released onto steam March 12th of 2021 by Games for games. It costs less than a dollar and it crashes after playing for a whopping 14 minutes. The problem with PIRATECRAFT is a problem that seems to plague the digital game market. It is a low quality slop asset flip, dime a dozen. Lets dig into JUST how bad this is. First up, the original pack - PIRATES OF VOXEL PLAY by Kronnect is on the unity store. It even shares the same exact screenshots as the steam page for PIRATECRAFT. Though it looks like the steam page has some sort of added color filter on them for some reason - idk probably to obscure the images from whatever bot looks at them for copyright or somethin'. Basically all you need to know is that somebody bought this pack and then did the bare minimum to upload to to steam in hopes of stealing your money. Oh yeah, the game DID get an update marked April 9th but if we look at the post about it all it says is the phrase 'NEW VERSION.' If we take a look at the trailer presented via steam we can see that even in the trailer the game suffers low FPS performance and graphical lag. Wonderful. To scrutinize the steam page even more we can see the game self describes itself as a... battle royale - survival - action first person shooter single or multiplayer. I'll go ahead and let you know right now, its not really any of these things. There is no battle royale mode, multiplayer does not work, and the whole survival crafting Minecraft sort of experience is out the window. This game has a high score for killing the animals and cannibals. Thats it. Okay well, you CAN place some blocks down but it is rather limited and there doesn't seem to be any combining of materials or anything like that. You just put the cube here or there. Speaking of the blocks - if you're in a position where the players head clips into one then you get to see the void and contemplate why you wasted a few quarters on this mess of a game. What gameplay is actually here... at night the game is PITCH BLACK. So dark it becomes nearly unplayable. There is no torch or flashlight. I guess the stars look pretty at least? The arrows shoot crazy and have a limited ammo capacity unlike the gun which has infinite ammo for some reason. There's also a choice of characters with differing stats but I'm inclined to believe that that doesn't even actually apply to anything in the game past the UI on that character selection screen. Oh and there is only one map. One island with some cannibal statue in the middle. The soundtrack is kinda cool i guess? Given the state of everything else I'm gonna conjecture here a little bit and assume it is either outright stolen music content or is royalty free... Thats all I got. Don't buy it. Такой ♥♥♥♥♥ в жизни не видел, это просто ♥♥♥♥♥♥ полный , глаза кровоточат не останавливаясь. Я понимаю если бы она была бесплатной то буй с ним , но за токое избраное авно и 15р жалко. Этой игрой можно устраивать пытки на федеральном уровне. Это хуже чем Анджела Лондон я лучше ее послушаю и лишусь ♥♥♥♥♥ слуха. Можно же было постараться и сделать что-то годное, но нет ♥♥♥♥♥ мы сделаем лютое гавно и выкинем в стим еще и акков левых посоздаем что бы отзовы накрутить. Автор игры теперь мне должен оплатить операцию по лечению моего зрения и психики !!!!
