Excellent use of VR, truly unique. I can't think of any other game in my VR library that plays quite like it, which is cool. Tired of wave shooters, give this a try! Wish they would keep on expanding on it. Would love to see a sequel with a story mode where you are a plumber called in for crazy emergencies.
It's a good game. Not much too it, but not much needs to be going on. Spawn and connect the pipes before the room fills with water. Simple. Oh, and sometimes the lights turn off. And sometimes you're dizzy from a gas leak. And sometimes there's steam from hot water. And sometimes the spawning panel malfunctions because of sewer water. And sometimes the pipes are behind movable objects. And sometimes you'll have everything connected, but you have to reset a leaky pipe. The worst problem I've experienced with the game is that sometimes there are more green pipes than red pipes. There's a mechanic where one big pipe is worth two small pipes, but even accounting for that there will sometimes be one green pipe too many. It's frustrating, but there's no real penalty for failure, so just start over and the next set will probably be fine. It's possible I couldn't see where the next red pipe exit was because they can be hidden, but there's only so many places to check and it happened a number of times. One of the products of my frustration was that I resolved to just connect everything together, which should work.
Experienced on the Oculus Quest 2
You can view my initial impressions review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/RKDVmR_Wlac I don't know what's going on with the positive reviews for this game, but this is the least fun pipe / plumbing / plumber puzzle game that I have played in VR. The main reasons for that is because I had trouble connecting the pipes (took several attempts to connect them & they would fall to the ground & you have to reach to the ground to pick up the pipes which isn't good for your back), the puzzle designs were uninspired since they are randomly generated, the pipe generator is a terrible mechanic in this game (it would often give me the wrong pipe piece or they would fall to the ground), and the visuals, sounds, & UI were all bad. So it's not all bad. There are 4 different modes to play and 4 different difficulty levels as well. On normal mode, you get randomly generated levels, so there is replayability here. Unfortunately, I have no desire to ever play this game again (plus my back hurts now from having to reach down to the ground so much). Game is running on the Unity Engine. On my RTX 3080, I was getting 90 fps with some stutter / frame drops every now and then on the highest graphical setting. You do have full locomotion available, along with smooth and snap turning. However, you definitely have to play this game standing as you'll need to reach high and also reach low. Overall, this is the worst pipe / plumbing puzzle game I have ever played. I don't know why this game has as many positive reviews as it currently does. Any other pipe VR game is better. Still, it was challenging and the randomly generated levels and different modes will give you lots of content for the asking price. I could see some masochist enjoying this game. i am gonne give it positief for the prices i just got some irratating problems -cant set my middle point i got the place but for some reason ( the more in the back of the room the more space) -give you the bare minium to play i get stuck by connecting 1 big pipe to 1 small pie vica versa -attaching is not always regestrating - im a tiny guy (165cm) so for me its very fast too high the water :( overall its a nice indie games just those annoying problems
Игра классная! Играем с ребёнком.
Movement is all locomotion, no controller enabled. Game looks awesome, and wish I could play, but I have limited room and old headset that doesn't track 360*, if you have a wireless headset and room pick this game up
