One of the best overall games steam has ever had. All the pinball machines are realistic, and look exactly the the one at your local pinball arcade. The gameplay is great and never a boring moment. Even after they lost license to some of the games, its still awesome. This is a must for anybody on steam. I been playing for 8 or 10 year now, and it never gets boring, and my friends love it. I recommend this to everyone, if you do not already have.
Decent Pinball Game plays well even on intel Gen 10 iGPU hardware, too bad they won't fix ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like the config launcher, it seems to always crash at first launch (3 different PCs same issue), the DX11 version tends launch in Window mode the first time round until you hit shift or alt (can remember the combo) + Enter otherwise you are left head scratching how to get full screen, and finally the Steam desktop shortcut always launches DX9 version (apparently renaming the DX11 .exe to the DX9 .exe is quickest fix).

ч. The Twilight Zone, Star Trek, Arabian Nights);
I've played uncounted hours of The Pinball Arcade (TPA) on the PS3 and mobile. I think Star Trek might be the permanent free table(?), so that's awesome! The ball physics often seem like the playfield is just a sheet of ice, but this game still has the best nudging in my opinion. Thanks for getting me into pinball!
It does seem this one has lost its luster over the years, but it is still hard to beat free. As far as said free offerings go, the Mary Shelley's Frankenstein™ table feels pretty quick to get the hang of. Once you know your timings, you can pretty consistently sit there and get the letter bonus over and over. The free to play table of the month is a nice feature for testing out the paid stuff. I got to play the Star Trek table based off the somewhat recent around the time this game came out (2013) movie. It was also a decent time. Overall it is a fine little virtual pinball game that serves as sort of a time capsule not just of the cabinets it emulates, but the video representations of the era. It's far from perfect, though. As I've mentioned, it's a bit dated. The application simply crashes on the wrong settings, and the look and vibe of the whole thing, while a bit nostalgic perhaps, is not the highest quality by today's standards. There is also the fact that this thing in its free, base version takes up just over 19 GB, which is a lot for some virtual pinball to be burning a hole in my system, so I won't be leaving this installed for playing whenever. For any achievement hunters and folks looking for Steam perks, you can still earn some achievements and level up your badge, but you need to spend money on this to earn any cards. Additionally, you simply can't 100% this game any more since a lot of content has been removed over the years (or, rather, you can't get it any more). Sooo...if you are someone who cares about these things, be warned. If you're just someone who wants to play a little bit of free virtual pinball (and have a decent amount of free space on your computer), this game can be worth checking out. Personally, I won't be splurging on the DLC - at least not any time soon and especially not at full price. Still, I'm glad I checked this one out.
Just awesome!!!
Solid pinball sim. I wish it had a few more view options, but the physics and rubber sim are quite good. Plays better on a larger monitor. Demand on display card is moderate to low, not very many particles.
Unlike the new Zen FX this Pinball Arcade has excellent paddle timing and good ball physics.
