Pinball FX Midnight

Looks great at first, but its really on the surface. The concept is good. The implementation is alright. The menu system is inconsistent and buggy. The physics/PhysX not only change based on your device, but even then are inconsistent per table often ignoring changes in height or friction (never had balls slide off slippers like they were greased like this in my life). Ball movement from a tiny tap could send the ball at jet speed, while a full hit might not make it up a the playfield. Balls will make it over a hump in a ramp but still roll back due to "gravity" or something, mostly showing things are set, just not correctly, instead of physics calculations. Balls will impact each other sometimes and pass right through each other other times on multi-ball. Game is buggy as hell. Everything from little annoying bugs to flat out not playable on a regular basis with FPS issues caused by syncing the community notes most people ignore. Why that syncs during table play or why it affects the performance so badly on PC and Consoles has yet to be determined. What has been determined is it isn't as important as renaming the game to fix in several months, even the several months before they even discussed the rename. Bugs are reported about this game daily, several a day typically. And those are rarely if ever fixed. You will likely only get some random bug fixes whenever they release new tables, which for this game is far less often than their main game Pinball FX. So if you expecting a bug fix then I wouldn't hold your breath because even when they do release updates there are limited bug fixes and often more things breaking. Shortly after a new table release they might fix bugs related that specific table(s) but that's really 50/50. Over all, its a fun game. Though the single free table get old, especially since it is included in every daily challenge. Cheaters will beat you from high scores in tournaments, which wouldn't matter except for a related achievement. Some achievements are near impossible with less than 20 people every achieving them according to the leaderboards, but can't trust that as randomly scores are lost on those. Focus is more on the special FX added to the tables more than on the gameplay itself. For now I am voting with my money by not giving them anymore until they fix some of the game breaking bugs at least. Though many of the minor ones should likely takes minutes to resolve due to referencing wrong variables or simply bad math.
