Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 28 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It's Picross. I love Picross. The plot is goofy, the plot is low-stakes, and the little world you inhabit makes progress even more fun.

If you like nonogram/picross style puzzles, you'll probably find this game enjoyable. The puzzles make sense, there aren't forced clues, and so far I've not had to guess to at any point to solve the puzzles. Realistically, this is just a large collection of puzzles with a "game" exterior. You basically just walk to different puzzles and get a minor story. The real focus for the game is clearly the puzzles and there really isn't anything to complain about. 4.5/5
Hundreds of nonograms in this cute retro video game. Helpful options to tailor the difficulty level through optional hints. Plus a silly plot with silly jokes throughout as you sole the nonograms to save the city.
brought this game after remembering that piccross 3D existed and wanted an alternative. I really enjoyed this game!! Great to have on in the background.
Piczle Cross Adventure, developed by Score Studios LLC and published by Plug In Digital, is an inventive and content-rich take on the classic nonogram formula that successfully blends logic puzzle solving with light adventure game structure. Rather than presenting puzzles as a disconnected list of grids, the game frames them within a cohesive overworld, transforming the act of solving Picross-style puzzles into a journey of exploration, restoration, and gradual world-building. This structural choice gives the experience a sense of purpose and momentum that sets it apart from more traditional puzzle-only entries in the genre. At the heart of the game lies the familiar nonogram mechanic, where players interpret numerical clues along the edges of a grid to determine which cells should be filled to reveal a hidden pixel image. The core logic is faithful to the genre, ensuring that experienced Picross players will feel immediately at home, while newcomers are eased in through a gentle learning curve. Puzzle difficulty ramps up steadily, beginning with small, accessible grids and gradually introducing larger and more intricate challenges that demand careful deduction and patience. The satisfaction of completing a puzzle remains central, with each solved grid delivering a clear visual payoff in the form of detailed pixel art. What elevates Piczle Cross Adventure beyond a standard puzzle compilation is its overworld structure. Players explore a map known as Piczleshire, moving between locations, uncovering new puzzle nodes, and watching the environment visibly change as puzzles are completed. Solving a nonogram doesn’t just clear a challenge from a menu—it restores bridges, buildings, and landscapes within the world itself. This tangible sense of progress reinforces the feeling that each puzzle matters, turning logical deduction into an act of reconstruction rather than mere completion. The narrative that ties this adventure together is intentionally lighthearted and whimsical. A cartoonish villain uses mysterious Piczle dust to drain color and structure from the world, and it’s up to the heroes to restore order one puzzle at a time. The story exists primarily to provide context and charm rather than emotional depth, but it succeeds in giving personality to the experience. Dialogue is playful, characters are expressive, and the tone remains consistently cheerful, making the game feel welcoming even during longer puzzle-solving sessions. Puzzle variety is one of the game’s strongest assets. With well over 300 handcrafted nonograms, there is no shortage of content, and the puzzles are distributed thoughtfully throughout the world to avoid fatigue. While the game largely sticks to classic black-and-white nonograms rather than introducing complex variants, the sheer volume and consistent quality of the puzzles ensure sustained engagement. Optional and hidden puzzles reward thorough exploration, encouraging players to venture off the main path in search of extra challenges and secrets. Progression is paced in a way that feels organic rather than forced. Certain areas of the map open only after specific puzzles are solved, creating light gating that nudges players forward without ever feeling restrictive. This design subtly encourages mastery of larger or more difficult grids while maintaining player agency. The sense of discovery—finding a new puzzle tucked away in a corner of the map or unlocking a previously inaccessible area—adds a layer of motivation beyond simply finishing the next grid. Visually, the game leans into a charming pixel-art style that complements its logic-puzzle roots. Characters, environments, and completed puzzle images all share a cohesive aesthetic that feels nostalgic without being dated. The overworld is colorful and readable, while puzzle interfaces are clean and functional, prioritizing clarity and ease of use. Audio design supports a relaxed atmosphere, with gentle background music that encourages focus, though extended sessions may reveal some repetition in the soundtrack. Community reception has been consistently positive, particularly among fans of nonogram puzzles. Players frequently praise the game’s structure, noting that the adventure framework adds meaning and cohesion to what is often a solitary, menu-driven genre. Criticism tends to focus on personal preferences—such as wishing for more puzzle variants or deeper story elements—rather than flaws in execution. For most players, the balance between puzzle purity and light adventure proves to be exactly what they were looking for. Taken as a whole, Piczle Cross Adventure stands as one of the most complete and thoughtfully designed nonogram games available on Steam. It respects the intellectual satisfaction of classic Picross while enhancing it with exploration, world-building, and personality. Whether approached as a long-term logic challenge or a relaxing, story-infused puzzle journey, it offers a rewarding experience that celebrates deduction, patience, and the quiet joy of restoring a world one solved grid at a time. Rating: 8/10
After bouncing off Piczle Lines DX+α (personally I wasn't a fan of the puzzle type in that game) I was glad to see this sequel instead used Nonograms (or Picross puzzles, as Nintendo players may know them). And as a fan of that puzzle type, I really enjoyed this game! The RPG-lite elements of the game are a cool little touch, but shouldn't be the reason you get this game as 98% of the game is nonograms so would only recommend getting if you enjoy those. The game starts easy and gets more difficult, despite that I never got stuck on a puzzle for too long, so overall it may feel a little basic if you do this puzzle type a lot (I felt the difficultly was well balanced for me). The story does following on from the prequel, but don't feel you need to have played that game as the story is a vessel for the puzzles and the game wouldn't change much without that. Personally, I would have liked to have seen a bigger emphasis on the RPG elements of the game, they are very minor in the grand scheme or things, but I think this game does a great job with the puzzle side of things. I actually played the game entirely on Steam Deck, despite Steam listing is as unsupported. A few times I did lose controls and had to restart the game or mess with the Steam Deck's control settings to get it working again, but on the whole it worked great with controller. Overall it was a fun game, if you like nonograms and want a few hundred to do I would recommend, if you don't like that type of logic puzzle I would advise staying away.
If you like nonograms/picross, you'll like this game. If you don't, you won't like this game. If you've never played nonograms/picross, this is game is great entry point to give them a try if you get it on sale.
