Picross Bonbon – Nonogram, developed by Somer Games and published by 8Floor, is a straightforward and content-rich logic puzzle game that stays firmly rooted in the traditional nonogram formula. It doesn’t attempt to reinvent or expand the genre in significant ways, but instead focuses on delivering a large collection of well-structured puzzles presented within a light, dessert-themed framework. The result is a calm and consistent experience that emphasizes relaxation and steady progression over innovation. At its core, the gameplay follows the familiar principles of nonograms. Players are presented with grids accompanied by numerical clues that indicate how many consecutive cells should be filled in each row and column. Solving each puzzle requires careful deduction, pattern recognition, and attention to detail, as every decision contributes to gradually revealing a hidden image. The mechanics are easy to understand but offer enough depth to remain engaging, especially as grid sizes increase and patterns become more complex. This balance makes the game approachable for newcomers while still providing a satisfying challenge for more experienced players. The progression system is structured around a series of themed stages, each centered on sweets and desserts. As players complete puzzles, they unlock colorful images tied to each theme, creating a sense of movement through different “regions” of a confectionery-inspired world. While this thematic layer does not affect gameplay, it adds a pleasant sense of continuity and reward. The visual payoff of completing a puzzle—seeing a clear image emerge from a grid of logic—remains one of the most satisfying aspects of the experience. One of the game’s strongest features is the sheer amount of content it offers. With a large number of puzzles spread across varying difficulty levels, it provides a steady stream of challenges that can be enjoyed over extended periods. The absence of time limits or penalties allows players to approach each puzzle at their own pace, making it well-suited for both short sessions and longer, more focused play. This flexibility contributes to the game’s overall relaxing tone, as it never pressures the player to rush or perform under stress. Visually, the game adopts a clean and functional design that prioritizes clarity. The interface is easy to navigate, with all necessary information presented in a straightforward manner. The completed images are bright and cheerful, aligning with the dessert theme and providing a satisfying visual reward for solving each puzzle. While the presentation is not particularly elaborate, it is effective in supporting the gameplay without distraction. The audio design follows a similarly understated approach. Background music is soft and unobtrusive, creating an atmosphere that encourages concentration without becoming repetitive or intrusive. Sound effects are minimal, reinforcing the game’s focus on quiet, methodical play rather than sensory stimulation. Together, the visuals and audio contribute to an experience that feels calm and consistent from start to finish. However, the game’s reliance on traditional mechanics is both its strength and its limitation. While the puzzles themselves are well-designed, the game introduces very little variation beyond increasing grid size and complexity. There are no additional modes, unique mechanics, or experimental twists to break up the formula. As a result, the experience can become repetitive over time, particularly for players who are not already fans of nonogram-style puzzles. Despite this, Picross Bonbon – Nonogram succeeds in delivering exactly what it promises. It offers a reliable and enjoyable puzzle experience that remains consistent throughout, providing hours of logical challenges without unnecessary complications. Its simplicity and focus make it a dependable choice for players seeking a relaxing and engaging way to pass the time. In the end, the game stands as a solid example of its genre—unambitious but well-executed, with enough content and polish to keep players engaged as long as they are invested in its core mechanics. Rating: 6/10

It's a decent game. NOTE - If you are doing this game to 100% it, there are two achievements, one to use 20 hints and one to use 50. I don't like using hints so I just saved it till the end, then spammed it for the achievement on a level I'd already completed. If you do that, you have to complete that level for those hints to count towards your total.
This is a good picross game. Not spectacular but it provides a challenge to go on for hours. It's a bit on the bland side despite all the colours but hey it's a puzzle game, not a work of art. Not much to say really, play it while listening to tv or youtube videos.
Well, I liked this.
This a very enjoyable and relaxing logical puzzle game where you are invited to use your mind to the fullest. I would certainly recommend it who appreciates puzzle games. My compliments to the creators of PICROSS BONBON - NONOGRAM
i enjoy the game the only problem i have is that the numbers are small and therefore hard to read
