It's fun, but it needs more content and need Steam Achievements. The game also doesn't have Steam Cloud Support. And the Language Switching doesn't work. I wasn't able to switch to Spanish. I click on the English button, but nothing happens/
Хорошая игра, много разных интересных животных, разнообразные DLC.

Photo Quiz - Animals, developed and published by Boogygames Studios, is a casual word-and-observation puzzle game that leans fully into simplicity, accessibility, and light educational value. The premise is immediately clear and approachable: players are presented with photographs of animals and must correctly identify and spell their names. There are no complex mechanics, timers, or pressure systems at play, which makes the experience feel relaxed and welcoming from the very first puzzle. The game is clearly designed to be easy to pick up and play, whether for a few minutes at a time or in longer sessions of steady progression. The gameplay loop is intentionally straightforward, but it gains depth through variety and gradual difficulty scaling. Early puzzles focus on familiar and easily recognizable animals, allowing players to ease into the mechanics while building confidence. As the game progresses, the selection expands to include less common species and trickier images that require closer attention to visual details such as fur patterns, body shapes, or facial features. This progression encourages players to slow down and really observe each photo rather than relying on quick guesses. The act of typing or assembling the correct animal name reinforces spelling and vocabulary, giving the game a subtle educational edge without ever feeling like a formal learning tool. A simple hint system helps keep frustration to a minimum. Players can spend earned in-game currency to reveal letters or automatically solve a puzzle, which is especially useful when encountering an unfamiliar animal or a spelling that’s easy to second-guess. These assists are optional, allowing players to decide whether they want to push themselves or move forward smoothly. This balance ensures that the game remains accessible to younger players and non-native speakers while still offering a mild challenge to those who prefer solving everything unaided. Visually, Photo Quiz – Animals adopts a clean and functional presentation that keeps the focus squarely on the images themselves. The interface is uncluttered, with clear text and intuitive navigation that makes it easy to move from one puzzle to the next. The animal photos are the real stars of the experience, providing a wide range of visual subjects that help prevent repetition from setting in too quickly. While the game doesn’t aim for flashy effects or elaborate animations, its minimalism works in its favor, creating a calm, distraction-free environment that suits the quiz format perfectly. One of the strongest aspects of the game is its broad appeal. It’s well suited for players of all ages, from children learning animal names and spelling to adults looking for a low-stress puzzle game to unwind with. Its bite-sized structure makes it ideal for short breaks, and the absence of high difficulty spikes means it rarely feels punishing. The inclusion of multiple language options further enhances its accessibility, allowing a wider audience to engage with the content comfortably. In the end, Photo Quiz – Animals succeeds by knowing exactly what it wants to be. It doesn’t attempt to reinvent puzzle games or add unnecessary complexity, instead focusing on delivering a polished, easygoing quiz experience built around recognition, spelling, and visual observation. While players seeking deep mechanics or long-term strategic depth may find it limited, those looking for a pleasant, family-friendly word game will find plenty to enjoy. It’s a modest but thoughtfully designed title that offers simple satisfaction, gentle challenge, and educational value in equal measure. Rating: 6/10
