This is quite an amazing game that is solidly made. Heck of a lot of content here for a freebie, with many many hours of play time. It has a very interesting story, easy controls, and pretty good graphics. I'm 18 hours in, and have not experienced any bugs or glitches. The game includes both trading cards, and achievements. Also, the achievements count on your Profile, even though the game is free. You are Ion, a robot from Earth that is shipwrecked on an unknown planet. You are classified as an "exploration unit" who is searching other planets in the universe for the resources that all robots need to continue operating. Your ship's A.I., which is also like your supervisor or trainer, talks to you and gives instructions. The timeframe is way in the future, as it is revealed that humans are long gone. Your immediate tasks, of course, is to phone home to explain what has happened, and try to repair your ship so that you can get out of here and continue your mission. However, things are never as simple as we would like them to be. While you are investigating some strange anomalies, and searching this planet for resources, you come across another recent shipwreck, which is also from Earth. According to the A.I. from this other ship, their robot trainee, called Ani, went out and never came back. So now your immediate task switches to finding Ani, because Ani and her A.I. could be highly instrumental in helping to get all of you off of this planet. Once you find Ani, the two of you have quite the adventure exploring several locations with differing climates, and fighting hostile entities.

Робот похож на Валли. У меня теперь сынишка в нее играет. Ему нравится.

Genuine pain to play this. The game is one giant escort mission with a stupid amount of just walking around and collecting resources all the time.
cute robots ;3
JUEGAZO 😎👍💛🌟
I had played Cloudpunk in anticipation of Ionlands upcoming Nivalis, so I wanted to play their first game and was pleasantly surprised to find a great little exploration and platforming game. You play as ION a robot from a civilization that is implied to be Earth in the future that chose to discard bodies in favour of becoming mechanized. After crash landing you must assist another robot ANI who is part of the 'Oxy' movement that wants to convince society to reintroduce life to Earth. It's very indie, essentially a sequence of open world biomes connected together by portals, the player must scavenge various resources to craft items to carry forward the quests and overarching story across the biomes. Aside from the main quests, you must look after ANI who is susceptible of corrosion from the various storms. You need to keep topping up her protection and find for her shelter. You can toggle whether or not she follows you or if she should attack for herself. The story and music was surprisingly heart warming and the anthropomorphic relationship between ION and ANI is adorable, particularly when you discover that if you leave ANI to corrode for too long her speech functions start to falter and its almost like she is slowly dying and this is actually felt in the visible changes of her behaviour after considerable corrosion. I felt this was really well done. The tasks are simple enough for the most part aside from a notorious sequence when the player needs to navigate across various icebergs where you must think outside the box with the teleporter. The game also goes out of its way to not hold your hand too much and allows you to explore at your own pace and come to your own decisions about how to for instance navigate the desert to switch on radio stations. Achievement hunters will face challenging playthroughs that force you to limit your resource consumption, however be warned regarding the pacifist achievement which seems to be problematic. Overall a great game to mess around with and explore and a charming first title from Ionlands, I'm really looking forward to their future titles.
Wall-E + ICO + Rust = NT
It's a nice puzzle, kind story, but you have to look for a solution!
