I'm sad there was no storyline with the characters I would of loved to see how it would of went based on choices throughout the game. However I really do like the concept of it and really love how each Color has their own nice personality , I have played Red and Green parts so far but I'm really enjoying this!
It's a cute concept and I liked it! But it's pretty short.
really good and i really like the "interview" part on the first which its rare in a dating game, but for me the gameplay way too short

Honestly I love the idea of this dating sim. Content is a little light, and there's really not much since it's purely based on personality. That being said, I love the idea of this, and thought it made for a fun, short time! I got matched with green btw
Personality Dating Sim is an unconventional and deliberately minimalist take on the dating simulation genre, developed and published by Fickle Sickle with a clear intent to challenge how players think about attraction and romantic choice. Rather than presenting potential partners through character portraits, sprites, or predefined physical traits, the game strips identity down to abstract color-coded personalities, asking players to engage with romance on a purely conversational and behavioral level. This premise immediately sets the game apart, framing it less as a traditional visual novel and more as a social experiment focused on interpretation, empathy, and personal values. The early portion of the experience is where Personality Dating Sim feels most distinctive and engaging. Players are introduced to multiple color-coded personalities and interact with them through a series of questions, responses, and conversational exchanges. Because there is no visual or demographic information to rely on, every decision is shaped entirely by how dialogue is perceived and how well the player believes they understand each personality’s underlying traits. This abstraction encourages careful reading and reflection, often prompting players to examine their own biases and assumptions as they decide which personalities feel compatible or trustworthy. In this phase, the game succeeds in creating curiosity and genuine intrigue, as deciphering who these characters “really are” becomes the central puzzle. As relationships progress, choices begin to branch toward longer-term outcomes and eventual endings. The game offers multiple conclusions based on how players interact, respond to emotional cues, and handle key moments of connection or conflict. While these branching paths provide replay value, the differences between outcomes can feel subtle rather than dramatically transformative. The “life story” epilogues that summarize how a relationship unfolds aim to give closure, but they often feel brief and understated, sometimes lacking the emotional payoff that the buildup implies. This makes the consequences of major decisions feel more symbolic than deeply impactful, especially for players accustomed to richly detailed narrative arcs. The writing throughout Personality Dating Sim is a mixed but earnest effort. At its best, the dialogue is playful, thoughtful, and occasionally introspective, allowing personalities to bounce off one another in ways that feel natural and lightly humorous. However, as the game continues, limitations in depth and variety become more noticeable. Some interactions repeat familiar beats, and certain personality traits remain surface-level sketches rather than evolving into fully realized characters. Because the entire experience hinges on dialogue, these moments of simplicity or vagueness can reduce immersion, particularly when players expect deeper emotional nuance or more complex relational dynamics. Visually and sonically, the game remains intentionally restrained. The minimalist interface and subdued presentation keep attention firmly on text and decision-making, reinforcing the core concept of personality-first romance. Music and sound design are subtle, serving as gentle background accompaniment rather than a strong emotional driver. While this approach supports the game’s experimental tone, it also contributes to the feeling that the experience is compact and limited in scope, closer to an interactive thought exercise than a fully fleshed-out narrative world. Overall, Personality Dating Sim is best understood as a concept-driven indie experiment rather than a comprehensive dating simulation. Its greatest strength lies in its willingness to discard genre conventions and ask players to reconsider what draws them to fictional relationships in the first place. While its writing, pacing, and endings may not satisfy players seeking deep emotional storytelling or extensive character development, its originality and thematic focus give it a distinct identity. For players curious about unconventional narrative design and introspective choice-driven experiences, Personality Dating Sim offers a short but thought-provoking journey that stands out precisely because of its restraint and unusual perspective. Rating: 5/10
I had a great time with that game. I am sure that the author has psychological knowledge or did detailed research about human personality. Besides this, a minimalistic sound design was not annoying, and beautiful graphics. I think that project should be developed - maybe as an educational app?
