The game had it's moments, but overall was just kind of bland. There really seems to be no overall story, more like a collection of mini stories thrown together, only two or three of them created any interest at all. the game being set up like this means you have no real choices, you're going to play through each story with no consequences to the others. Being sandbox you spend most of your time slogging around trying to trigger events. Some of the hints are broken, Like it always telling you you need to meet Sophie for breakfast, so you just have to keep showing up in places at different times hoping thats the trigger. lastly the NSFW scenes are underwhelming. There's next to no animations and pretty short. overall a mid to low end run of the mill adult AVN game,
definitely a wild ride, dialogue is silly but still hit me in the giggle ♥♥♥♥
This is not a game/AVN that I would recommend. While the story premise is sound and has some good dialogue in places, the visuals ruin the experience. On the positive side, unlike most games/AVNs in this genre, I did not hate the protagonist, and in many cases, I got a chuckle from his comments. He's a horny man-♥♥♥♥♥, and that's fairly normal for this genre. The difference here is that he's not an effete cuck, like the main character in other games/AVNs. As for the writing, the overall premise stretches credulity, but it still works. You just have to suspend disbelief and go with the absurdity of the story. On the negative side, the female characters are definitely the weakest link in this game/AVN. Some of the character designs were quite sexy and kept my interest. However, as is so often the case, the women's bodies were at times distorted. It's as if the designers and programmers have never even seen a real woman's ass. The best female character designs in the game/AVN are Dani, Sophie, and Hikari. They are sexy characters with great designs, and I eagerly watched each one of their endings. Jenna’s design was fairly good. It fit the story very well. However, the two college students were designs with serious flaws. Daisy's hair looked like a wig that was ready to fall off, and Alex’s body looked a sack of potatoes as if her design were intended as a turn-off. The least attractive characters were Mayan, Amy, and Maria. Mayan’s story line is interesting, but its tragic and overly serious tone do not fit in the overall feel of the game/AVN. The story of abuse and a broken life does not fit in the whimsical tale of a guy who playfully tries to ♥♥♥♥ every woman at a health club. At the bottom of the character stack are Amy and Maria. Maria is the ‘GILF’. Trying to portray a grandmother as sexy is a serious turnoff, and I avoided her storyline as much as I could. However, Amy’s character design was awful. She had no redeeming qualities. Her body was definitely made unattractive on purpose, and her facial expressions were a constant turnoff. I did not watch Maria’s and Amy’s endings. This game/AVN appears to be a product of the writer’s determination to portray a wide diversity of character and body types with an overabundance of realism. While that’s not a bad in of itself, the requirement to endure these various kinks in to make progress in the game/AVN makes the whole thing and unpleasant experience, and that is why I would not recommend this game/AVN.

Personal Trainer is a tightly scoped, choice-driven visual novel that wears its intentions openly and commits fully to serving a very specific audience. Developed by Domiek and published by Udder Yeti, the game is built around adult humor, provocative scenarios, and branching interactions rather than complex mechanics or broad narrative ambition. It presents itself as a self-aware, tongue-in-cheek experience that prioritizes player agency in social situations over traditional gameplay systems. The premise establishes the tone immediately. You step into the role of a male protagonist who takes a job as a trainer at a women-only gym, with the story unapologetically centering on flirtation, manipulation, and personal indulgence. The game does not attempt to soften or disguise this setup, instead leaning into exaggerated situations and knowingly absurd circumstances. This directness makes it clear what kind of experience is being offered, setting expectations early and avoiding any pretense of moral complexity or realism. Gameplay follows classic visual novel conventions. Progression is driven by dialogue, internal monologue, and frequent decision points that branch the narrative in different directions. Choices affect how characters perceive you, which scenes become available, and which endings you ultimately reach. There are no skill checks, resource management systems, or minigames layered on top; the core interaction is simply selecting how the protagonist responds in each scenario. This keeps the pacing brisk and places the burden of engagement entirely on the writing and character dynamics. The cast of characters is designed around recognizable archetypes, each with distinct personalities and predictable responses to player behavior. While this limits depth, it also makes outcomes easy to read, encouraging experimentation across multiple playthroughs. Players are incentivized to revisit earlier choices to see how different attitudes and actions lead to alternate scenes or endings. This branching structure provides the bulk of the game’s replay value, even if individual routes are relatively short. Visually, the game adopts a clean, anime-influenced art style common to many indie adult visual novels. Character portraits and expressions do most of the narrative work, with limited environmental detail or animation. The artwork is functional rather than elaborate, designed to communicate mood and intent clearly without drawing attention away from dialogue choices. Presentation is minimal but coherent, reinforcing the game’s focus on character interaction rather than world-building. The tone throughout is intentionally irreverent. Humor often comes from exaggeration, blunt dialogue, and the sheer audacity of the situations presented. The writing does not strive for emotional nuance or long-term character development, instead favoring immediate payoff and comedic shock value. For players who appreciate self-aware adult comedy, this approach can be entertaining; for others, it may feel repetitive or shallow over longer sessions. In terms of structure, the game is compact but padded by its multiple endings. A single playthrough does not take long, but completionists may spend several hours exploring alternative routes and outcomes. Because progression is narrative-only, replayability depends entirely on the player’s interest in seeing every variation rather than on mechanical mastery or challenge escalation. Ultimately, Personal Trainer succeeds by being honest about what it is and who it is for. It does not aim to compete with expansive visual novels or deeply written adult narratives, nor does it attempt to broaden its appeal beyond its niche. Instead, it offers a straightforward, choice-driven experience built around provocative humor and branching scenarios. For players who enjoy adult visual novels with a casual tone, clear player agency, and low mechanical complexity, it delivers exactly what it promises. For anyone seeking depth, subtlety, or innovation beyond genre norms, it will likely feel limited—but that limitation is very much by design. Rating: 7/10
A great game with strong interactions. As a lover of this genre and a natural playtester of these games, I fully approved these hours of great enjoyment.
The store page states a 6 GB download of files but in reality there is only 1 GB installed. This is an unfinished or at the very best a misleading product so it seems.
