Perimbó is a cozy, pixel platformer that feels both familiar and fresh. You chase a little red bird, fall into an enchanting cave, and end up freeing trapped spirits using magic light‑blocks. The core gameplay—building and retrieving block stacks carefully to navigate vertical puzzles—is clever, thoughtful, and never feels unfair. 🌟 What stands out: - Charming pixel art and soothing atmosphere - Inventive mechanics with light boxes, water jars, spirit quests - Hidden paths & progression loops that reward exploration ⚠️ A few tricky bits: You can't rebind keys which is annoying when you don't have a QWERTY keyboard, and my controler didn't seems to work out the block placements. Overall, I’m hooked — Perimbó neatly balances cozy exploration with brainy platform puzzles. Highly recommended!

Jogo suave, arte fofa, desafios leves e difíceis, conceito super divertido, simplesmente amei. Perfeito para dias de chuva.

Muito divertido, se você gosta de Puzzle, recomendo muuuito! Mandaram muito bem nesse jogo, cheio de referências indigenas.

Cute little pixel art puzzle platformer that I got stuck in like the second area. The light box stacking was an interesting take on puzzle/platforming while not feeling to tedious. My biggest issue was that once I got to the area with the first tribesmen that needed to be watered I could not find my way to the next objective. This was either my own issue or a glitch that prevented me from progressing. I spent like 10 minutes running around the level looking for the next puzzle/area but could not find anything. Still a recommend.

A kid runs after a bird and falls into a hole. This was all planned by the bird, which needs the kid’s help to save villagers who were turned to stone. It turns out the kid has a cool ability to store boxes in his pockets, and this creates a nice mechanic for exploring the map and looking for several things that will help you save everyone. The keyboard is used for movement and jumping, while the mouse is used to handle boxes. To collect a box, move the mouse cursor over it and click the right mouse button. You can then use the left mouse button to drop it anywhere you want. The only restriction is that it must be placed within the area currently visible on the screen, but distance and line of sight do not matter. You can place a box on the other side of a wall, below you, or above you. You can even drop a box, which is actually made of light, on top of your character because it will not hurt you. Boxes can also be stacked on top of each other, allowing you to jump through them one by one to reach higher platforms. To prevent the game from becoming too easy, however, there is a limit to how many boxes you can carry. This limit is shown on the necklace, and you start with enough space for five boxes. Boxes are not automatically yours because they come from fruit that can be collected around the map. There is plenty of fruit, but if all your box slots are already filled, you cannot collect more. For that reason, after placing boxes and accomplishing what you intended to do, it is a good idea to pick them back up, assuming you remember where you left them. The main objective is to explore the map and collect three types of seeds that can be used to unlock upgrades. One type of seed allows you to buy a better jar, which is required to collect water dripping from the ceilings or pools. This magical water can restore villagers who have been turned to stone. The second type of seed unlocks a map upgrade that reveals all fruit locations. The third type is the most important because it increases the number of slots on your necklace, allowing you to carry more boxes. The overall feel is casual, and you can quickly increase your carrying capacity. This is how you make progress because you constantly need more boxes to climb higher, reach new fruit, and obtain even more boxes. After purchasing the map upgrade, you will also have a better idea of where to go next because fruit locations appear as dots across the map. However, the map has been torn into nine pieces, and each piece reveals only a portion of it. Besides boxes, progress is also blocked by wooden crates and vines. These can be destroyed with a hoe, but you will need to do some climbing before you can recover it. You start the game with one, but lose it during your fall into the hole. Some vines can only be destroyed after upgrading the hoe. Cracked rocks are another obstacle that can be broken, often leading to secret areas. Some of these areas are also hidden behind fake walls, so it pays to keep an eye out for anything suspicious. Especially because finding secret areas is required to make progress.
