This has been the most horrible experience of my gaming life. And that is what makes it great. Confusing? Ye maybe, but absolutely true. Imagine a mobile game, but they strip away everything that's fun. There's no challenge, there's no flashy effects, there's no convenience, nothing. This game lacks every feature under the sun, that makes gaming somewhat comfortable. Instead it piles on more and more and more ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that gets between you and the fun. Upgrade this, but it's random chance. Upgrade that, but it's random chance. Spend 10 minutes running across the map only to have your speed stripped from you. Basically think of a game, that only involves every Pay2Win and Freemium scam you can think of. Go on, do it, think of it. Yep, that! That's what this game is. And it's interesting to suffer through it, because that makes you think about all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you endure when you play freemium titles who abuse systems like these. Highly recommend playing this. It's eye opening.

Very interesting experience. Helped me find the words to describe the practices and tricks that I've always knew existed, but could not pin down. I'd say it's a must to experience, if you ever found yourself deeply invested in an massively multiplayer game. That said, game could really benefit from some polish. Maybe more context, especially in latter parts. And please, have a native English speaker go through the game text. It's not that there are many grammatical errors (apart from insisting on using gears as a plural of gear), but it's often difficult to read and comprehend.
A cool idea and story, with a good lesson - feels like something a teacher would assign as a click-along homework assignment. If it didn't force the subject's tedium on you, the actual player so hard, it would be great. But when it makes you experience the mechanics yourself, and really piles on - the lesson isn't reinforced it's just... longer. Could be awesome though!
I like the concept and really wanted to like the game. However the UI clunkiness makes the game tedious in a way that's just poor design and doesn't have anything to do with criticizing existing pay to win games. For example, most of the "premium" things which are required to progress make you to spend fake "real" money. Ok, got it, the point is you're forced to spend money to play the game. Trouble is you can only add 20 cents to your "real" money balance per click. It's not uncommon for a quest to require $50+ in "real" money. So have fun clicking a button literally hundreds of times whenever you do anything. There's absolutely no reason the pay to win games which this game is mocking wouldn't let you invest ludicrous amounts instantly. Or take the "crafting" and item "reinforcement" systems. These exist purely to show how tacked on features exist purely to manipulate players into spending more money. Ok got it. To progress in this game you have to do these things a lot. But every time you have to drag several items from your inventory to the right spot in the interface. No right click to warp the item over, no shift+click, ctrl+click, etc. You literally have to click, move, drop. And half the time the item you're holding blocks a huge area under your cursor so you have to hope you're over the right box when you drop the item or the item warps back to your inventory. So grab thing 1 and carefully place it, thing 2, thing 3, click "craft". Then grab thing 1, thing 2, thing 3, click "craft". Do that 20 times plus the number of times you missed the right box. A pay to win game would make it as easy as possible to compulsively "craft" and sink cash into the game. Or even let you "craft" 100 times with one click or something. All in all this game is so annoying that the humor is completely buried under the misery of interacting with the UI. Not worth your time.
https://youtu.be/2KyopOftwkU Delivering it's message with the heaviest hands possible this attempt to reveal the P2W secrets misses the mark by ignoring that the quality of a game impacts player engagement with microtransactions.
I get that Pay2Win is more of a meta commentary on scummy p2w techniques that devs put into games that try to milk money, and I appreciate that part of it. However, making a game where the game captures all of the negative pitfalls is quite literally making a bad game. If you have the patience to sit through the boring replicas of boring things other games do, then give this a go. Otherwise, I don't really need to have a game exclusively focus on what I don't like about other games.
That was the longest hour of my life really funny at the end though

Zapraszam do obserwacji naszego kuratora: ŚWIAT RECENZJI
