Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 24.71/day in the week to Aug 31 → 25.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
In Pathogenic, you are the disease. Experience a visceral 2D roguelike twin-stick shooter where you play as a lone parasite fighting a desperate war against the immune system. Your goal is simple: infect and conquer your human host.

To survive, you must adapt. Hunt down enemy cells, rip out their organelles, and graft them onto your own body. Evolve from a simple cell into a complex engine of destruction. Create powerful, game-breaking builds and become the ultimate pathogen.

Loot, graft, and assemble your parasite from dozens of unique organelles. Combine flagella for movement, mitochondria for power, secretors for ranged attacks, and spikes for melee combat. Chain organelle effects and discover powerful synergies to build an unstoppable disease vector.

Battle a diverse roster of enemies, from basic immune cells like macrophages and T cells to rival parasites such as tapeworms or protozoa. Formidable bosses are lurking deep within the host's organs.

Collect plasmid fragments to permanently upgrade your parasite's plasmid tree between runs. Each parasite will have it's own upgrade tree allowing for a range of builds to suit your preferred playstyle.

Navigate the procedurally generated organic landscape of the human body. Travel through distinct biomes like the branching pathways of the lungs, the pulsating chambers of the heart, and the complex neural network of the brain.
Our detailed, colorful world is powered by a soft-body physics simulation, giving every cell, enemy, and projectile a uniquely satisfying organic feel. The combination of hand-crafted design and procedural generation ensures endless variety - each run offers a fresh and challenging gameplay experience.

This is an incredibly fun game. The moment I launched it, I was immediately hit with memories of Spore's Cell Stage. It takes that same 2D cell aesthetic and turns it into a bullet hell roguelike. The game is balanced nicely, though sometimes you get hit with poor RNG and the Heart boss can be pretty RNG-dependent due to the amount of things it throws at you. What really interested me was experimenting with the many different builds. One run I created an army of minions that did all the fighting for me, and the next I challenged myself with a melee-only build (melee is goated btw.) The sheer variety of weapons and things to tinker with made every run feel different, and that's what makes a good roguelike. On top of that, there are plenty of alternate game modes, like Boss Rush, which skips the exploration and throws you straight into consecutive boss rooms. Huge thanks to the Devs for the Steam Workshop support, it's always nice to see community involvement this early on. It already has a growing collection of QOL, tweaks, a creative menu, and multiplayer-focused mods. That said, it isn't without flaws. Physics can become a little annoying once your cell gets larger. It's easy to snag on walls or get wedged in the tunnels depending on your cell's physical evolution build. There's also a secret ending and hidden boss that are so obscure you'd likely never know. The game offers almost no clues, requiring you to find invisible rooms and a specific weapon just to begin uncovering them. Overall, I love how creative this game is. The different cell types combined with the huge selection of weapons and over ten challenge modifiers, there's plenty of replayability and room to experiment with a bunch of things. Highly recommended.

Amazing. In an era where the roguelite genre is rapidly stagnating due to rampant gimmicks and lack of imagination, pathogenic offers a refreshing return to form. Like the most famous of it's kin, pathogenic has a plethora of ways that the various gameplay features interact and synergize with each other, while the fast-paced twin-stick bullet hell gameplay still emphasizes skillful gameplay. If I had to find a critique, it's that the game is a little too short. There aren't that many levels, and I think that more areas and enemies would help smooth out the difficulty curve and give players more opportunities to build their run. If nothing else, check out the amazing soundtrack, it's well worth your time.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wonderful game
really amazing game 9/10 i would say and the rest of the comments say everything good already, my only problem i have is with projectiles. i had the three starting weapons and they were orbiting around me, the game was a slidewhow before the first boss. i jope the dev can optimize the projectiles since it seems to be very needed unless: Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-10940X CPU @ 3.30GHz NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 ti is not enough??
is good roguelike fun to shoot ball at guy
I find this game fairly fun it is a roguelike and I'm a big enjoyer of roguelikes. The best way to explain this game is kinda like if you mixed the binding of Isaac with plaque ink
It's like Abadox and Nova-Drift had a baby. Yes. One thousand times yes. Sat down to check this puppy out this morning and 14 hours disappeared.
蛮好的 题材 ,而且 制作也 不错 ,玩法也好玩,大人小孩都可以玩,虽然有点反人类,哈哈哈,武器组合多,眼花缭乱的 ,比DEMO难度大一点
Excellent Twin-Stick shooter with well implemented Rogue-like progression and bullet hell/heaven gameplay... May not be a good choice for those unaccustomed to the fast twitch action of an arcade style shmup.
Phenomenally fun and cool cell themed twin stick shooter roguelite. Great music and visuals, good gameplay, well worth the money.
