Really good game so far. Ok, 54 hours in now. So its not a short game lol. I think I'm getting close to the end though as I just got some Flows that suggest its end game. There are however, a large amount of glitches in this game.

I watched the opening cutscene and got to the first part of the tutorial, which features the first encounter. The term encounter is important here. It was so good that I immediately closed the game to write this review and buy the other game by this developer. This review is not sarcastic. I don't want to spoil anything so download the game and play it for yourself. I wish more games were created like this one. They are the future. Will update review once I have played more.

Механика поиска предметов и решения головоломок не вызывает раздражения, а скорее побуждает к внимательному исследованию мира, наполненного индуистскими мотивами и философией. Сюжет, хоть и не отличается особой сложностью, затрагивает важные темы самопознания и принятия. Особенно понравились короткие вставки с медитациями, которые действительно помогают сконцентрироваться и получить еще больше удовольствия от игрового процесса. Некоторые головоломки могут показаться немного нелогичными, но в целом, игра оставляет приятное впечатление. Это не просто развлечение, а своего рода интерактивный опыт, приглашающий к размышлениям. Рекомендую всем, кто ищет спокойную и атмосферную игру, способствующую расслаблению и умиротворению. Мне игра понравилась, особенно ее уникальная стилистика и акцент на самопознании.
RPG Maker strikes again! "Path of Vidya" is one of hundreds of low effort retro-pixel RPG Maker asset/construction kit flips spamming the Steam catalog, made with the RPG Maker video game construction kit... in their own words, "Our easy to use tools are simple enough for a child." Like all RPG Maker "games", this is essentially a bunch of low quality/canned assets from RPG Maker coupled with a cringeworthy high school anime club fan fiction. The best part about this RPG Maker asset flip is that it's not a high school anime club dropout fan-fiction about the developers imaginary anime girlfriend. That is, unfortunately, the only good part about this RPG Maker asset flip. Which is a high school anime club dropout fan-fiction that tries to be "edgy" and "meta" by being a video game about video games. Jesus. If The Matrix was made with RPG Maker pixelcrap, the Wachowski sisters would have been tarred and feathered and kicked out of Hollywood forever. As with all RPG Maker games, the poor quality engine displays badly in fullscreen and doesn't have full HD support or any graphics tweaking options, making this unacceptable for any dedicated modern PC gamer. The point can be made that the intention of RPG Maker is to make demos and small games to pass around friends, and shouldn't be used for "professional" game development. Like most RPG Maker shovelware and asset flips, the game features extremely low quality copy + pasted 2D retro pixel art, looks awful, and has even worse gameplay. RPG Maker is an absolutely terrible construction kit, and never results in games of any reasonable quality or value to gamers. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. This is "free" enough (not every "free" game in the "free" section is truly free, there's usually some hidden price tag), at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good, and the cost of a game is more than just financial, your time is valuable too. In terms of public reception, this failed. There's over 130 million unique gamers visiting Steam every month. SteamDB showed the game peaked at [b]only 3 concurrent players[/b]... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Since free games don't contribute to your game collector badge and other profile stuff, is this a worthwhile addition to your Steam library? This is a hard pass. There's no immediate financial commitment, but there are thousands of more compelling games on the platform that will give you a lot more enjoyment for your time.
