Clover is a shell of a person, living an empty, isolating existence. While it struggles clumsily trying to figure out the basic aspects of its identity, its future seems like more of the same, with homelessness looming and no support from family or friends.
Lotus is an overachieving trust fund girl, beloved by those around her, while miserably drowning in boredom and empty relationships. She wants an escape.
And she knows about someone who might want it too. And if it doesn't, that doesn't matter — She'll make sure it does.
The two become hopelessly entangled as they embark on a morbid road trip to the Cobalt Belt, a gargantuan, anomalous zone where reality is suspended and return is all but impossible.
And if that doesn't kill them, Lotus has a hardware store built IED for guaranteed instant oblivion. Their fates were sealed the moment they met.
What freedom and joy can they claw back in the time they have left? How much pain will come with it?

As a fan of Lunaticker games I'm glad to buy this one, I love being uncomfortable and yet some how comforted by the art and story, I truly love my ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up yuri, keep cooking so I dont starve.

Finally! A Game for me!
I just finished this and holy god do I have a ton of feelings. I dont know if ive ever related as much to a character in fiction as I do with Clover! Her detached nihilism, the self-loathing, the need to apologize for existing, being to scared to truly live- but to also die, being a loser tran*y ♥♥♥♥*t, I could go on indefinitely! Lotus is like several people Ive loved and one of which Ive sadly lost to addiction. The story is absolutely gut wrenching from begging to end with hardly giving you a moment to relish and breathe, Lotus and Clover certainly dont get that so why should the reader? The ending of this is something that will stick with me for life. I made several attempts but on my last one I got scared and called my at the time friend and told her what had happened so Clovers panic in those final seconds is something Ive felt. But those final final moments of Clover becoming part of the everything in the rust belt was so so so awful, her willingly finally just giving up all control of herself forever to be trapped alone in that car and "happy" is something Ill think about for along time! I do think that if any one of the many many point where Lotus tells clover to take control or some agency of her life, and she had pushed sooner to not go to the rust belt, to maybe try and be happy- Lotus might of, but she was sick and sadly some people just arent meant for this world and I think Lotus was one of them. I dont want to say the same for clover but I dont know. I need more time to think about this. By far my game of the year!
