**** UPDATE! (October 27, 2022) **** Okay, High Five To This New Indie Dev! ..From a "Not Recommend" to a "Recommend"!! He listened to my first very critical review and video (seen below) and understands now that he can't just use other successful games names to help sell his own similar style horror game (Slender). That's a HUGE step in the right direction, and having the inner fortitude to correct your mistakes as an indie developer is pretty damn rare here on Steam for sure! Great job to this dev! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ekXcUwtulto This dev still needs to change ALL the images to his new game name as some of the other size images are still the old "Slender: Exploration" images. He also needs to go into his Steam developer APP ADMIN and change his application name to the new name of his game and make sure he publishes the new changes. Other than that, I give him more feedback in the above new look at his game since he also corrected his controls for using the flashlight in the game. This game can actually be pretty horrifying now, and I think with a little more work on it, this can be an excellent little $2 horror indie title! ..Already he has increased his score in my book from a "0" score to a "7 out of 10"! And it can get even better! ..Let's see if he will continue to make his first Steam game even bettter! ------------------------------------------------------ *** Original First Review of this game on Oct 26, 2022 *** This developer made a terrible small map with a handful of construction equipment assets, a van asset that you drive in on and a COMPLETELY DARK map that is impossible to see on. You have a flashlight, but the F key doesn't work to turn it off and on, and the light from your flashlight is random AF and way too dim when it does work. Most of the time you're wandering around in total darkness! Worst of all, this developer is trying to make sales and a quick and easy dollar by using the "Slender" name and he even scribbled the word 'Slender" in the same kind of style as the old and popular Slender horror games too! A leech it seems is this developer (or low effort asset cobbler as I call them) quickly pumping out trash like this and trying to use another horror games success to make a quick and easy dollar. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IusRZXbN5_M MY SCORE: A big fat downloaded ZERO asset, but it's super hard to see because it's in total darkness and the F key doesn't work at all! ..Sound familiar, Mr "dev"?? NOT RECOMMENDED. Avoid and save your time, hard drive space, and money is my advice.
