Park of Hidden Desires

Just plain silly. Starting in russian, so you have to guess what button changes the language (not that the in game test in that great). There are some trivial puzzles you have to solve and then you have to find pictures hidden in the area, with no clue as to how many there are, your progress or where they might be - basically finding a number of needles in a haystack. When you do get the pictures they are AI generated and more scary than sexy. Controls are not super intuitive either. It says to use space-bar, x , and the arrows, but sometimes you also have to use the mouse (and then you also need to smash your space-bar - yay!).

I liked the art and so I gave it a spin. Sad to report that 'Park of Hidden Desires' is not a game yet. It has some very nice art which I think is AI generated, but there are some issues with some of the images as well. I played for awhile before requesting a refund.

This is a very appealing game! What makes it attractive is mostly its pleasant setting and the cool interaction with objects needed to solve puzzles. I highly recommend buying this game!

What the hell even was this? It's different scenery in a big park. You play some kind of green ghost...detective...I guess? And you go around clicking and finding happenstance random AI generated photos (granted, the artwork/clips are nice, and I like AI, but, it feels very phoned-in in this case). There's no counter for each area, only the gallery of stuff you collect, so good luck trying to hunt everything down properly! There's some background fluff story about being a bad-boy and later feeling guilt about it? But, it doesn't seem to tie into anything in particular. I was more confused than anything. Oh, and if you DO play this, and start it...the game automatically sets up the language as Russian...or something. I had to dig around in the options to set it to English so I could understand what was happening. This all feels very rushed, incoherent, and like the authors were just throwing ♥♥♥♥ at the wall and seeing what would stick. It's not a lot of money, but I wouldn't even let that persuade you to "play" this.

A simple visual novel with nice graphics. The plot is trivial, but the atmosphere is relaxing, and the gameplay doesn't take long.
