Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.13/day in the week to Aug 3 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
"Paratopic is probably the most important first-person game this year."
Waypoint
You got caught smuggling VHS tapes across the border, and now there's hell to pay. You want to find an elusive rare bird in the forest and snap its picture. You have to kill a man in the back room of a shady diner.
This is Paratopic, an experimental first-person horror game named by Rock, Paper, Shotgun as one of the best games of 2018, and by FACT mag as having one of the top 10 soundtracks of the year.
A narrative, horror tinged adventure game that takes you on a journey through a cruel fever dream world.
Cutting between numerous detailed and varied vignettes, unravel how the stories of three separate characters intersect.
Explore the detritus of forbidden industry, kill, drive through the night, find yourself in conversation with some very off-kilter individuals.
A leisurely playthrough should take forty five minutes give or take, with plenty more to discover in the detailed, grimey low polygon environments. Or speedrun it, if you'd prefer.
Over an hour of gorgeous dark ambient music is used to create our subtly dynamic soundscape. An anachronistic blend of modern and outdated production as glitches and textural pads meet synthesis & sampling akin to a haunted recollection of 90s Unreal Engine soundtracks.

Sums Steam only; Xbox, Nintendo publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

Pretty good short game and story, love the aesthetics and the world seems really cool, loved it 10/10
This game is awesome. The suspense and horror elements are really chilling at times and the story (which makes a lot more sense after a second run) is genuinely super interesting and paired with an excellent setting.

didn't understand shet but good game
No entiendo nada, pero está pila guapo
One of my favorite games, amazing atmosphere, and works even on a potato
A short and grim surreal-noir experience, presented in a series of moments where you can't even be sure who you're playing as, much less what's going on. Weird, creepy, and compelling you to play it again immediately after finishing. Update: oh, yes, it makes so much more sense on the second playthrough.
I think if you are going into Paratopic with very high expectations of a brilliant masterpiece level game you're going to be disappointed but I don't think any game for quite a while has made me want to watch a lot of analysis videos on the story and narrative as much as this one has. There is a lot to uncover about this game and if you are patient and willing to put some effort in to look deeper than just the surface, you will have a good time.
David Lynch se fosse um jogo
It is aesthetically pleasing, and runs very smoothly, the plot is understandable, and it isn’t very difficult. HOWEVER, i was INCREDIBELY DISAPPOINTED by the ending, honestly to me it just felt unfinished, and there were three very long sections where you must drive the car, and they didn’t bring any value or plot yet took almost half of the gameplays time.
