Note this is a timed pure hidden-object game. The entire game comprises of hidden-object scenes which you must solve within a time limit. The graphics are good and there is a nice background story with a little bit of voice acting. However, this kind of game requires that I evaluate it according to its core gameplay, and in that respect it falls short. It's literally a short game, which experienced players can complete in about 2.5 hours. And it's repetitive: despite a variety of scenes, a small set of objects appear in all of them. And, because of the timed nature of the game, you will likely have to repeat certain scenes twice or more. The bottom line is that game feels very repetitive. The poor gameplay can't make up for the nicer aspects of this production.

This game was pretty fun at first, but the finding and matching and puzzle games got repetitive after a while. The HOGs were my biggest issue, though. I spent several minutes trying to find a "TIER" and finally had to give in and use a hint only to be lead to a...TIRE. And it appears misspelled in several places, so if you stop playing the game for a couple days and come back to look for a "TIER," you're lost all over again. Also, some of the hidden objects are hidden in places you won't find them without hints. For example, a pair of scissors UNDER an axe. Or a crow behind a branch where you can only see the crow's eye. I'm not enough of a crow expert to know that's a crow's eye. Or a diamond hidden behind the hint/magnifying glass feature. Also, there was no point in taking the pictures of the ghosts.

This is a mobile-esque hidden object puzzle game with a supernatural theme (as the title implies). Step through 5 sets of hidden object puzzles (with strict timers on them). There's a few other puzzle varieties as well, although the story is not as interactive/interconnected as the Artifex Mundi style HOGs. As with most HOGs this doesn't really reach the minimum standards for PC gaming, with fixed resolution and an ultra casual game style, while there is widescreen support, the art assets are fairly low quality with a lot of asset re-use. Since you can play HOGs for free on mobile, and there's hundreds of them, it's extremely difficult to suggest anyone should pay cash money for something on Steam that's free elsewhere.

I had fun even though I would label this as an Old School Adventure HOG. It concentrates mostly on HOPs with no interactions. Strictly, you look for a list of objects. There is no Match 3 or arcade stuff in it. You are a paranormal detective asked to solve several cases. Each case is in a specific location. Each location contains several HOPs that you must complete and earn up to 3 stars to unlock the next HOPs. Repeat the HOPs until you unlock the next one. In doing so, you are finding clues. You have conversations with the witnesses. The background art is beautiful. I had trouble seeing many of the hidden objects because they were too dark , invisible, or blurred. In spite of that, I still enjoyed playing and following the story. You have a journal and a magnifying glass to help with tiny objects. You can use help up to 3x in each scene. It ends with a cliff hanger.

Hmmm ... part of me liked this. But lacks achievements, has impressively stupid typos (its tire not tier, lotus not latus), and is rather short and much too easy. The shortness is a problem - because it feels like its missing one or more acts. The plot is standard HOG goofy. As with many of these I wish there was a "meh" judgement on steam - but at the $3.99 price tag it just isn't worth it, with its other issues.

💔 Poorly made, no voice overs at all during game play. Some art is good mixed with poor low quality images. No proper window mode.
