About
An island outside of reality. A rogue human civilization hoping to resurrect dead alien gods. A murder behind locked doors.

Paradise is an island that regenerates every few millennia. The psychic power that the alien worshipers within release into the universe is meant to feed and eventually resurrect their fallen deities. But this force also attracts undesired interest from demons, who eventually corrupt each island — until a new alternate reality is birthed by the Council.
The system isn’t perfect, but it will be one day — on Perfect 25, the next island-to-be. But on the eve of rebirth, the Council is murdered and Paradise is killed.
In the aftermath, the “investigation freak” Lady Love Dies is summoned from exile to find the culprit. This is the crime to end all crimes.
What are the facts? What are the truths? Are they the same?

Return to Paradise Island in this updated and enhanced version of Paradise Killer, featuring new music and new mysterious beings, additional quests and rewards, extra Starlight skins, and more collectibles to find, plus performance improvements, a HUDless mode and Steam achievements. A free update for all players, available now.

Featuring DX12 support, ray tracing* (DX12 only), advanced upscaling (NVidia DLSS and AMD SR), and a host of other visual and performance updates, Paradise Island looks more stunning than ever!

You are tasked with finding the killer and building an airtight case against them. Take your case to trial and argue your interpretation of the evidence. Only when someone is successfully convicted can the crime be considered solved and Paradise be saved.

The “truth” is that there are many possible killers, and many ways to build a case. Even if you make a convincing case for prosecution and get someone convicted, is the mystery really solved?

Paradise is an island set in an alternate future history filled with cryptic lore and even more mysteries. Examine bizarre relics to learn more about this world’s surreal history.

You choose who to accuse, and build a case to support conviction. Everyone on Paradise has a secret to hide and something to gain. Old friends become new suspects, forcing you to choose between the evidence, the greater good and your own beliefs. There are many possible murderers, but who you pick will define your own personal truth.

Let your personal computer and electronic assistant Starlight be your guide through another dance of an investigation. Collect evidence, record testimony and interpret the facts to form your own truth.

Solve hieroglyph puzzles on ancient nightmare computers to discover new areas of the island, find concealed evidence and reveal terrifying secrets.
Paradise Killer has a suite of accessibility options that allow you to tailor the game to suit your needs.
*Raytracing requires a compatible NVidia RTX GPU, DirectX 12 and Windows 10 Build 1809. To play with Raytracing, please launch the game in DirectX 12 mode.

Reviews
I got totally engrossed by this, one of the most amazing explorable worlds I've ever experienced.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is the second time i've completed the 100% and overall 2nd playthrough and I still overall very much love this game. Maybe in some areas it's a bit heavy handed with the investigation and collection aspects but it is without a doubt very self-aware of it's subject matter and i appreciate that as no matter what happens the Elite still rule the working class in this universe and all you can do is minimize that harm if at all possible. At least I can make Lady love Crimson in the end.
I was not expecting to like this game, but some people said it was solid and worth looking into, and I was pleasantly surprised. Don’t get me wrong, the game has some jank; the movement is annoying, with the jump direction locked in so that your double jump and dash still force you to go straight from your initial jump choice. The island was worth exploring, and it was interesting seeing how everything unraveled as the story leaned into themes I did not expect. I was happy that they simplified the court and made it to where you present all of the clues that you went out of your way to get, versus playing a strategic game of objections and contradictions. I love me some Phoenix Wright, but I feel like that system wouldn't have done this game justice, and this setup feels like a better compromise between the two. The art style kept making me think of Suda51 mixed with something like Smile for Me, which are two absurdly different games, yet both feature hyper-sexualized characters. The environment is definitely unique. The music was something else—I love me some jazz, and this game absolutely delivered. There were a few pacing issues at the end when it came to getting everything wrapped up, but it is an experience that remains surprisingly immersive and, overall, an easy recommendation.
Dark, dystopian, trippy, but weirdly chill because there's no time pressure and the ?vaporwave aesthetic and soundtrack. I loved this game so much.
The first time I played this on my PS5, I was having a good time, but something about how I played it didn't feel quite right, but I was having a blast. I think that I mostly just had a problem finding any hard evidence right off the bat, but this time around, on PC, that is a totally different story. Somehow, right away, I was finding key evidence, solving puzzles, collecting key relics, and everything was just falling into place. Within 30 minutes I already knew at least one outcome of my future trial. Not only was the story just panning out great the way I had stumbled into it, the more I came across, the more I realized how many different paths could've been taken to get to where I was at that moment. In the end everything led me to a satisfying conclusion, supported by an amazing story and really memorable cast. Enough of me gushing about the story elements and mechanics, I want to talk about the graphics and overall feel of the game. This isn't going to blow you away with high quality, massively detailed textures, but it will wow you with its vision of the world, along with a immaculate vaporwave style and vibe. If you are playing this on anything modern, even some budget, modern laptops, this will play mostly at 30 frames, or higher, even with ray tracing and most everything at ultra/high. Not one crash on my system, very minimal stuttering, but this is being played on a Dell laptop, Ryzen 7000 series, Radeon graphics. Now, you will be jamming along with the music damn near the whole time, and finding the new tracks to listen to is paced out very well, this way you aren't getting tired of the same old track being repeated over and over. The music is masterly crafted as well, I'd say the tracks all evoke emotion, thoughtfulness, joy, and high energy, found myself bobbing my head to the music quite a bit and moving my feet to the beat. Each track has a different energy that comes with it, and I'd say most genres are a mix of electronic, synthpop, jazz, city pop, vaporwave, funk, etc. There's a lot here to listen to, and I'm sure you'd enjoy it. Overall, this game is well worth every penny you put into it, even though you may be able to beat this and get most achievements in one go, there is some replay value in it, since there are different outcomes to the end, be them big differences or small. You will most likely enjoy your journey as Lady Love Dies, as she tries to "breathe life back into Paradise".
Why play Paradise Killer?
• It is an interesting and intertwined detective story set on a weird island. • You will search for evidence and talk to people to uncover the truth.
What else is good?
• The music is chill and cool. • The ending of the story depends only on how much time you spend finding clues and how much you talk to people. • The game has interesting character designs. • The game gives you a few traversal mechanics that make constant running less painful. • Ray tracing makes the visuals more bearable.
What is bad:
• Almost all voice lines are silent. • The only “gameplay” is finding clues. There are no real interrogations or any stakes on the line. • A lot of meaningless collectibles. • Paid teleportation is ridiculous. The story is awesome, but it should have been a movie or some TV series, not a game at all. Buy this “game” only at a discount.
