I like this game and how I got to "be" different creatures, see how they see, move how they move, and I liked how important that was to getting around different environments (and of course, it was crucial to progressing in the game). I admit that I used the hint more than once at first and it was helpful; but once I got the hang of what I was doing, it was a lot more intuitive what to do. I liked the gorgeous surroundings - unfortunately, this is very much not an explore-all-nooks-and-crannies sort of game -- I found myself wanting to do just that! Very pretty. I didn't encounter any bugginess. I enjoyed the game!
look it's extremely cheap, not long so it doesn't overstay its welcome, and it has some charm to it. That being said, this IS a bit of a stinker of a hidden object. No fast travel, while reasonable for the small map, becomes an issue later down the line due to required travel back in order to shift back to previous animals, especially after you find everything and need to "charge the statue energy" to go home. Which can require needing to loop around the map more than an absurd number of times, especially if you missed some crucial objects. Frequently, there will be puzzles and item uses that make absolutely zero sense. Things like rotating some discs to put together the full image, but the image itself needs a specific orientation and will demand you need to brute force it. Similarly this was an issue with a laser frame puzzle, and the fish bar puzzle. As for objects there will be moments where the game expected you to click on specific patches of dirt or grass that have no indicator they can either be interacted with or be notable in any way. I think the worst of these being required to click on a specific patch of dirt in specifically bird form to mark it so the exact spot is visible in cat form so you can dig it up in order to pick up an object that can only be picked up in bird form again. These issues easily could have been avoided, or reworked, and it miffs me that they opted not to. I also forgot to mention that the game doesn't have arrows for choosing which path to go, or even lets you use the arrow keys to do this, however there is a map that will let you know if there are other paths. Just this leads to extremely annoying issues of it being tied to specific locations on the edge of the screen, not just the edge of the screen so you might end up thinking a puzzle needs to be solved to reveal a pathway, or sometimes when you get into animal forms that can't go every route, you'll just assume you're not allowed to go certain directions. This was especially true for the fish form since paths are marked by floating bubbles, all except for two paths, one of which is forward down a river (reasonable) and the other is to assume you can turn right under a bridge in order to look for a piece of background seaweed/moss of which you'll need to click randomly for. Still, for the issues of the game itself, it's still cheap, it's still charming, it's not exactly long either so the problems at best will only annoy you. I'd still recommend it since it's cozy and cute. although really?
You really chose to make the ending "was it really all a dream?" you really couldn't just say you had a world of magic, you couldn't just stick to your extraordinarily simple and easy to work with premise. You had to coward out and go. "how silly pshaw, what a strange dream, oh goodness, what a delirium of mine!"
truly a trope to ruin all tales.
It's a typical point and click adventure. The graphics are nice. I enjoyed turning into various creatures to access different areas. Most of it was quite straightforward. But the things you need to pick up are hard to see and you do have to do a lot of pixel hunting to find them or else you miss them and get stuck
I would enjoy this if my inventory would quit disappearing. If I back out of the game and re-enter, it is all there. As soon as I use one item, most of the rest disappear again. This is not acceptable.
Cute game. Really nice art and music for such an inexpensive game. The puzzles all worked cleanly, and the added features to make it a bit easier were also a nice touch.
I've completed Panmorphia 1& 'Enchanted@ and I really enjoyed both of them. The graphics, music and overall gameplay were good quality. The game is all round fun to play. And there is an online walkthrough if the in-game hints are not enough for those trickier parts. I can't wait to play the next one.
game could've had more directions, bro I was struggling with that but overall really fun. sometimes you couldn't interact with things till you did things in a certain order which was slightly annoying. I did you a guide for parts of the game. really enjoyed graphics and puzzles
Really sweet game with really nice ambience. It was quite a cosy experience. Only took 90 mins to finish, which is pretty good for these types of games. Beautiful scenery, interesting story. Love it.
