Panicked and Surrounded by Hot Vampires

AAAAAAAAAAA ˙˚ʚ(´◡`)ɞ˚˙ ehm, okay. This is cute. Like cute cute! So far, this is the most adorable game I've finished on Steam this year. I actually played this visual novel blindly. By just seeing that the vampires look hot, I thought this would be a standard and predictable hot vampire dating sim, but I got a wholesome surprise instead. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2787661865 Here players will follow Chester, a 47-year-old surveyor who is examining property that isn't on the government registry. While doing his job, he is trapped in the house and finds out that the homeowners are vampires. He has to stay and spend his days with them for a while! But that incident will bring about a change in his life. Soooo since the game started and I got to know Chester, I've found he is so unique and refreshing. I don't think I've ever played a romance VN where the protagonist is almost half a century old. He is also very open to showing his love for cute things like the 1000-piece cat puzzle, mockingbird keychain, sloth bullet journal, etc. He is truly precious! There are five endings (3 romance endings including a poly ending, 2 bad endings). I chose romance paths to get their endings in my first three playthroughs and they are all very charming. At first, I felt that was enough and decided to uninstall it (as it doesn't have achievements to complete), but a few days later, I reinstalled it because I can't deny that I'm still curious. Well, I just couldn't grasp HOW this even has bad endings. The writing is careful and wise as it tackles sensitive life and death topics. The partial voice acting is expressive. The visuals are also pleasing to the eye. The colors are combined in the right portion, light colors are pastel-ish so they are not too flashy and dark colors differ from shade to shade. And to top it all off, the CGs are fantastically magical and fun. Panicked and Surrounded by Hot Vampires is short, but it gave me a heartwarming experience that I'd like to cherish this year.
