It's... really bad lol. - There's only 2 characters. - Either matchmaking is busted or there's nobody to matchmake with. - There's no vs AI. - Moving diagonally with a keyboard moves you 1 extra vertical space in the grid, throwing you off. - Controls are unmappable (and the display wrongly shows WASD movement, when it is arrow keys) Everything this game does has been done better 30 years ago but better. It's feature incomplete, ugly, and a mess. It feels rushed.

poorly done tetris of the switcheroo variety. move the horizontal 2-square cursor and swap stuff to create matches. servicable presentation, some decent music on very short loops but some tracks are louder than others. matching animations are slow, especially when the clock's always ticking, but can keep matching elsewhere. no settings whatsoever, controls are non-rebindable. at least the mouse works in the menus. only arrows move, even though the controls screen only says wasd (and only shows arrows on the image). z to swap (always good for non-qwerty people), e speeds up board movement, esc pauses but doesn't unpause, have to click continue in an otherwise keyboard-centric game (controller also works, or is at least supported). 3 game modes: endless without a time limit (there's still a clock in the corner), versus for local multiplayer, and practice against the cpu. 3 unexplained difficulty settings and a speed slider, so you can start at a faster pace. online multiplayer is also available with random people and friends but obviously nobody's playing this even without a price tag. flipon is an infinitely better alternative for very little money even at full price, and you might also enjoy aloof, though it doesn't have the same exact switcheroo gameplay.
Why is it so hard to play panel de pon on PC? Why hasn't anyone made it yet? This is the only version that I know of on steam and it sucks my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥. All you had to do was make the controls AS RESPONSIVE AS A GAME from 1995. Ignore all reviews that say "waah negative review because I couldn't play this with my discord friends because the online is bad or something" this game is a piece of ♥♥♥♥ fundamentally and isn't suitable for anyone.
6.5 / 10. The game is cute and enjoyable but there are quite a bit of flaws that really brings the game down. Using a controller, up/down works everytime but left/right does not. There were a number of times where pressing left/right did literally nothing. This was most noticeable and occurred the most in Endless, although it did happen in Practice. Also there are no settings for changing the sound. You have to turn the sound down via windows. Outside of these hitches, the game is fun.
“I loved the game… simple and beautiful, just as this type of game should be. Note: the offline mode should have the option to face other avatars, because it’s really fun to play with a split screen and see what the opponent is doing (even if it’s a computer-controlled avatar) The option to turn the music on and off or adjust the volume should also be added, because sometimes the player wants to play with other background music while only listening to the sound of the pieces moving.
The gameplay is fine, but unstable. When I practice against the cpu, the game will ignore movement and swapping inputs when the time is desperate and force a loss as a result. This needs to be addressed being that this is a fast-paced competitive puzzle game that can be played between two humans. There is no point of suspenseful situations if it's going to be impossible to get out of it to begin with.

Online RIP, а одному не интересно.
Exactly what I was looking for: a modern take on Tetris Attack. I grew up loving it on my Gameboy. This is what I was looking for, and free.
