In PAMP Quest, you explore a 3D world, purchasing or collecting ammo, health, while finding the elusive PAMPS. PAMPS are minerals that can be carried by robots or hidden in cases that require keycards. As you continue playing you unlock new weapons, while upgrading perks. There are some locked doors that you can open with keycards. Some missions have additional quests like protecting or destroying something. There are turrets that can aid you in your quest. Teleporters will take you to a deeper level of the warehouse. Each game is procedurally-generated with a different layout. My only gripe is, if you change any settings, the game never saves them for the next time you play.
I can't believe someone actually made a game about PAMP, my favourite! A lovely combination of FPS combat and PAMP, what a procedural treat! P.A.M.P cadets, unite! I would like it more if there was key bindings for my PAMP and scroll wheel to change PAMP weapons. Hoh, thanks.

Game is not bad but has some issues but it is cheap. The issues could be fixed by dev in the future. Basically you have here a roguelite FPS with "main menu" level progression. The graphics are not bad, kind of atmospheric but the enemies you fight are blocky robots, probably because there was no art budget. There's other weird shortcuts taken in design too like right mouse button normally does look down sights to be more accurate in games but in this it gives you an aiming laser while you press it instead. The main criticism I have of the game is that it doesn't let you change the controls. In fact it doesn't even TELL you the controls and there are some features you might not expect. I played a whole game moaning about how dark it was before finding out you have a torch you turn on with F. You also have a matrix slow down "focus" on Q I think it was and a jump with space. I picked up some grenades from a vending machine but I never found out what button it was for grenades. There's a few rough patches (but it is early access): your gun clips through the wall in front of you if you walk up to a wall which looks scrappy and the mouse look (which you can't change in any way) is kind of a little laggy or floaty. If you press escape during the game then when you go back the mouse pointer is distractingly on screen. By the way the only options are for graphical things like screen shake on and off and filmic filter. As I said you can't change the keys or the mouse sensitivity. The game has potential. At the moment it's worth about what it costs. I hope the dev continues to work on it and makes it even better but a lot of games like this are people's hobby projects and at some point just get left to gather dust.
It captures that nostalgic feeling, kind of Doctor Who vs Dalek ~Doom scenario, if the doctor where to use guns. The procedural generated levels, are quite balanced in a way were you could see how someone could have logically used the place. Definitely worth $5-6 dollars as its is now.
A buggy abandoned mess. Playable if you fancy slowly shooting unremarkable robots without a crosshair. Or friction.
why is no one playing this tbh? like this game is good
