PAKO 4

Might be decent one day...today is just not that day. Very buggy and camera does not seamlessly transition during the action as it does in the videos. Why play this when you can play GTA.

Finally, a sequel to the pako series of games has appeared. I can only say that this part is not like the others. If all the previous games were like "storming a city", then this one is more like "the life of a robber in the city". This is an interesting offshoot of the usual games in this series, but still I expected more from Pako 4, and also the much-loved chaos, which I honestly did not notice in this part. I understand that this is early access and it's stupid to judge now, but I get the feeling that I'm not playing Pako, but a regular indie game, although I have to admit the game is good.

Pako 4 is hard, failure is imminent, however improving slightly with each try is satisfying. The music, driving feel and ai behavior is an improvement over Pako 1 2 and 3. I personally love the VHS filter with the aliasing jaggies but some players will prefer to remove the filter and apply anti-aliasing as well as having control of other graphics settings which aren't available yet. Trees are only partially animated. As the game stands it serves as a fun and challenging casual demo. I'm sure Tree Men Games have much more to come here as it is in early access but I'll list a few things that would likely enrich the player experience compared to what is available now. Economy: Having a way to save and spend money would add depth. Vehicles, upgrades, armour, weapons, properties, garages, businesses would all add rewarding dimension to the game. Story: Quests with dialog options will immerse players and demand more attention. Etc: Hire partners to drive and commit crimes independently. (earn passive income) Rise ranks to "Crime Boss" or "Mayor" Destructible buildings and terrain. Purchase a business to launder money. I'm genuinely pumped to see where Tree Men Games takes Pako 4. So far so good!

Been a fan of Pako series and would totlly reccomend.

Easily the best sequel I couldn't even see coming. I can already see this being a good game for me to play. Environment is a little janky but i can see potential of a better outcome when early access is done.

It's great seeing how far my favorite childhood game has come.

Another PAKO! This one takes up where the second installment in the series left off. This time you're not only the getaway driver, you commit those crimes in person. That's a first for the PAKO Series and I like it, because it adds to the game. Still, there's room for improvement in the gameplay, but this is early access. I'm very eager to see what the developers will do to broaden the spectrum of activities. Maybe there will be weapon stores, safehouses or missions or even a bit of a storyline. Yes, missions were there. Unfortunately, I had no chance to test them out yet, since I installed the game a bit late. They took them out. So, let's wait and see. It would also be nice to have a little more variation in the places you rob. A supermarket or a gas station should look a bit more like stores and a factory could have machines in it, etc. Again, this is early access. The most urgent addition though is a key for changing the camera perspective without having to pause the game :) I'm quite surprised, how well this runs on a M1 Macbook Air. All in all its a thumbs up with lots of hopes and aspiration. This can easily evolve into the best PAKO ever.
