Experienced on the Oculus Quest 2
You can view my review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/I_OQ9uTO2Tg So this is a budget-priced gun range simulator. It's off to an okay start in Early Access. I did run into some bugs. I though the guns felt good to shoot & they were pretty accurate. The graphics weren't good though. It has several modes to play. My favorites were quick draw (shoot the targets as fast as possible) and Simunition (where you do hostage rescue). Each mode has different scenarios, along with different difficulties to compensate for people with different skill levels. Most of them were fun to play. I think my video pretty much says it all. I don't have time to write a full review so I'll just leave it at that. Rate 6/10.
Please note: I received a free Steam key through the Steam Curator Connect program. Games pretty fun, simple competition-esque shooting, can definitely see this becoming one of my main VR games with some minor fixes/additions
This one is a real stinker. I purchased this game when it first came out and there have been zero improvements and still a ton of bugs. The graphics are bare bones basic low-res and there are lots of aliasing issues and no graphic options at all. The environments are bland and lifeless. Controls are some of the worst I have ever encountered in VR with the menu pointer often not working and/or switching controllers to what works and what does not in selecting anything. The reloading process is also highly awkward and you constantly grab ammo when you don't intend to. You can also only teleport a foot at a time. Enemies are also buggy as hell with exaggerated rag doll physics and they do not move in any sort of realistic manner at all. There are also major bugs such as maps disappearing briefly while enemies run around on a white screen. Overall, this is a very cheap and low-budget VR experience that should be avoided. A much better and polished VR target shooting game in my opinion is Lethal VR.
obviously lot of improvement needed, but pretty fun. guns model looks good but not much to interact with. some guns are hard to aim accurately. modes like move'n'shoot or turn'n'gun, and quick draw are worth repeating to beat higher level. although, simunition wasn't attractive since enemy AI isn't well polished. that being said, I hope devs keep going to polish its cons to match up other gus sims in VR market. if you looking for VR shooter not focusing on PvP or Co-op it's worth a try.
its fun.
