I like the 8 bit versions of 80s music. I didn't get that far. The first major boss fight isn't fun at all and I have little reason to keep trying after failing twice. But hey, I'll give it an upvote because there's a chip tune version of The Safety Dance.

It's a fun little story and cute graphics. I'm having a hard time with getting the controls down because the character gets stuck in a continuous fighting mode from me mashing buttons...
I'm currently doing a challenge to play through a free game in every single category on steam. I then give an honest review using ChatGPT.
Game: 129 / 447 Category: Hand Drawn "Beautiful, But Badly Broken" This hand-drawn game is an exercise in frustration. The visuals are undeniably cool, and the soundtrack is solid, but everything else? A disaster. The controls are unresponsive and awkward, leaving you clumsily fumbling through levels. The first boss feels like it was designed without any consideration for mechanics—it’s chaos without purpose. Adding insult to injury, there’s no tutorial, no options menu, and pressing Esc doesn’t pause—it just force-closes the entire game. Seriously? With smoother controls, better design, and even something as basic as a controls guide, this could have been a fun experience. But as it stands, you’re stuck dodging attacks with a character that feels like they’ve never walked a day in their life. Great soundtrack, great art, but the gameplay? Practically unplayable.
Fun little game, I lost on the final boss (I think). I wish there was a "button of shame" option to "buy more lives" because I don't want to play the whole game again, but I do want to win.
ere I will leave the cat, whoever pass by can pet it and give it a thumbs up (I'm trying to get award) Have a nice day :3 /> フ | _ _ l /` ミ_xノ / | / ヽ ノ │ | | | / ̄| | | | | ( ̄ヽ__ヽ_)__) \二つ
Joe from No Average Joe personally came down to shake my hand and congratulate me when I beat the first level. That is when I knew that this game was peak. The soundtrack and visuals were so good that I printed multiple posters of this game to post on my walls, and I funded research for brain implants so that I will be able to listen to it on repeat in the future. the game is buggy though.
There are lots of memes and cool reference from other popular games and movies. Cool game to play after a long day of work without having the need to fight against sweaty online nerds. Gameplay might be a little janky. Just an FYI there are no tutorials available for this game. If you are using keyboard and mouse, dont hit the Escape key as it will close your game. The buttons I have figured out so far are: 1) Arrow keys to move 2) Spacebar to jump 3) Z key to interact 4) X key to do kinda like a dash 5) C key to attack 6) P key to pause the game IF YOU WANT TO LOWER THE GAME VOLUME, YOU GOTTA OPEN WINDOWS VOLUME MIXER AND TURN THAT SH!T DOWN MANUALLY LOL!
