Cute little roguelike!
Balatro like fun
Really fun game! Absolutely worth the price. If you're a fan of card games circa Balatro and Slay The Spire, you will likely enjot this game. Though not as in depth as the previous stated, for the price that it is, it delivers more than expected! Looking forward to what else the devs come out with.
Simple blackjack game, fight enemies, modify your deck, a mix between balatro and slay the spire
A nice middle ground between Slay the Spire and Balatro. It has simple yet enjoyable mechanics that reward good decision making. Optimizing your deck is very satisfying. This game has a ton of potential. My only gripes are that it's too easy because of how much control you have over your deck, and the frame rate is stuttery on my machine. Overall I highly recommend this to anyone interested in the genre, especially at this price point.
A fun twist on the famous "blackjack " card game where each card has a special ability plus a range of possible values to "draw" when played, turning it into a clever one-on-one combat system with wich to fight your way through boses in a roghe-like fashion, improving your deck as you go along. The game has an interesting collection of cards that allows for a lot of strategy and gameplay variation, each playthrough goes completely different from the last one. There's also some nice card upgrades you can get at the store that pops up in between battles that always keeps you hoping for the next great opportunity to improve your favorite cards. The bosses (or "dealers") are all different from each other with varying abilities and provide more than sufficient challenge. The boss randomization between playthroughs also helps keep the gameplay fresh. While clearly an indie title with need for a few quality-of-life improvements it is a solid title with a nice aesthetic and fantastic game-feel that will no doubt keep you glued to the screen for multiple hours on end if you are not careful. I've definetly enjoyed my time with this game, and I think others will too.
Fun game for lovers of chance and cards!
this one is fun, lite, and addictive.
Really fun, but current formulation can be beaten 100% in about 2 hours. Hope they expand this, build out some sort of endless mode and permanent unlocks and such. Lots of potential.
There isn't really much to this game, yes it is cheap, but it only has an hour max of gameplay. There isn't much build variety so every round will end up feeling the same. Additionally, due to the cards having a range of values when played it doesn't feel very good when you start losing due to some bad rolls. Yes there are ways to manipulate this, but they don't start showing up until later in the run, by which you have either already made a good deck or are dead.
