I played on Andradite for ~85 hours. By no means a leet player, just my first impressions. (85 hours is not very long for this kind of game) Pros: - Pretty stable and efficient communication to server (crashes have been pretty rare) - Complex ship building and combat systems - Satisfying planet building - No pay to win elements Cons: - UI sucks, really badly (micromanagement is of course a time-honoured tradition in space 4x) - Hard to stay competitive without constant monitoring (this is again not the fault of the game per se, but of the genre) My initial review compared this to a combination of Master of Orion 2 and Travian. I stand by that comparison. Just like Travian, I find it impossible to devote enough time on a regular basis to stay competitive, which makes my interest in the game dwindle. Also just like Travian the initial 72 hours or so were incredibly addicting. But sadly, I just don't have enough time in my life to play games like this anymore.

That is what I really hate about those online games. you come back and your colony is gone. I had 600+ hours of gameplay all gone.
Great fun game but considering how long it has been in early access there is still too much wrong with it e.g. unable to see asteroid fields, and therefore mine them, unless a ship is in system, despite having already surveyed the system, but the major gripe is connectivity. Server is quite often down and usually for quite a number of hours. This is really not satisfactory, regardless of early access status. It looks more like insufficient resources provided to infrastructure and support. Going to keep trying to connect but am coming to the end os my patience with this game and am going to start to try and find a more reliable replacement. What a shame!
В принципе не плохая игра (но опять же не выдающаяся), учитывая что она не pay-2-win, но ей не хватает некоторых деталей или улучшения тех элементов, что есть сейчас: автоматизации, возможность шифтить флоты, более удобный интерфейс.
The snakes have boobs.
the game was ok its going to shut down soon but i wanted to leave my thumb up bevor the server rest in my opinion the endgame was the reason this game was abondend when playing a space game where i build my own empire i expect awesome space battles with interesting fleet vs fleet battles sadly in the endgame this was more like minesweeper and in the early the combat looks blunt also alot of features where left open like automatic resource transportation as further the game goes as more i need to do by hand this gets annoying at some point the tech tree was okaish but nothing special the things this game did well was the space is interesting to explore races you cannot start with can be found and integrated to your empire the ships can be fit for the players demands and are fun to play around with without getting to complex for casuel players to understand what i personaly think is for an mmo the way to go the game laked player to player interactions and combat was minesweeper + in a slow paced game really not the best idear personaly this game fullfiles a space game desire i have quite nicely even though it was laking here and there i hope to see more games like this
This is a game that has real potential but also has real issues. It plays like a cross between Ogame and Stellaris and while its great as it is really something unique it is clear it has stumbled into this with quite a few issues still outstanding. Normal notice that its in an Alpha but if you can pay for it, it deserves fair criticism. You will find your self on spawning into a galaxy on its edge but in view of other new players (there are newbie protection rings around players for the first few days) as players are spawned in a spiral around it means you don't have to contend with the galactic big dogs right away and actually leads to the best part of this game. An arms race! Yay! you will find some of your neighbours being cheeky and pinching planets to close to you or you to them and a small conflict between scout craft can quickly turn to all out war fought over days of real life time. Things happen slowly in Outscape so be prepared, that combined with a frustrating lack of shift-queue moves or just decent fleet commands can mean you have to be more active than you would like for a game this slow. Scouting new systems is extremely tedious. Automated transport of minerals around your empire is a very poor at the moment as well. Just getting your fleets to do what you want can be a pain generally. You often don't actually need to fight your neighbours its just the most thing to do so you will but there is little in game emphasis on it currently. There are many other issues with this game but what strikes me is that they don't seem to matter that much to me, they are annoying but its such a great idea and at such an early stage it really has done something special here. I will recommend the game with a big caveat, its got a long way to go, if that doesn't frighten you and you are still intrigued give it a try and it might just surprise you.
Игра умерла...Задумка вроде интересная,но не доделаная
The game is incomplete and almost unplayable, too many imbalance issues, and devs are doing nothing to improve it. Looks like they just sold it and went away.
