Origami Treasure

Its a really fun game. Shape-shift origami-style to over each level's obstacles. Most of the achievements are fun, but since I absolutely despise time attack mode, that achievement is a no go for me. Looks like I will not be 100%ing any time soon. If time attack is your cup of tea then this game is for you, or at least 100%ing this game is for you.

I enjoyed the demo, figured I'd enjoy the full game. Eh... Not so much really. The first area, with the bee, is straight out of the demo as far as I can tell. It's good, simple fun. And then the forest comes along, and I'm not sure exactly why but it simply doesn't bring me much joy. Perhaps it's the enemies that I can't jump on for reasons unknown. Perhaps it is the boss, where you need to outrun them for some amount of time I gave up on. Or maybe it's the mandatory frog portion where you need to jump on walls and such. Possibly a combo of all of these things. Either way, it sapped whatever enjoyment I was having so this'll be a title I won't finish. I don't think it is bad. It just didn't end up being as fun as I had hoped for it to be.

If I'm being honest about this game, its good enough but boring. I would honestly give this game a meh if I could. You play as a piece of paper searching an island for some special treasure and you get through stages by turning into origami to traverse the lands. There's not much I can say about it that makes it interesting/stand out. Collectables contribute to nothing and some of them hide behind hidden walls, wall jumping with the frog feels awkward, the plane form is broken in any stage without a ceiling as turning into it while rising from a jump gives you major height, and the stages just feel too similar to each other. The whole experience just feels subpar but at least it feels finished. If you want to try it, be my guest but don't expect too much creativity out of this game.
