Orbitous is an action roguelike where every object has gravity. Every planet, moon, star, enemy, projectile, is attracted to one another. Nothing is stationary in this procedurally generated galaxy. Fly between star systems, build weapons, and fight enemies.

About
Gravity is everywhere. Use sling-shot maneuvers to your advantage and shoot projectiles on curved trajectories. Gravity can guide you, but it can also be your downfall.
Nothing is stationary. Every star system is fully simulated, constantly orbiting around the black hole in the center of the galaxy. Watch the worlds around you collapse, explode, and merge into new ones.
There is no safe place in this galaxy. The Network is constantly hunting you down. And even if you think you've found comfortable ground to land on, there's no guaranteeing the endless tides of gravity won't wash it away.
Build better weapons to progress. Take an ordinary bullet and modify it into a shotgun, increase its mass until it's large enough to host orbiting projectiles, or add a field of heat to burn nearby enemies. There are many possibilities, and most modifiers are stackable.
Real time physics. After a bit of procedural generation, your fate is left to entropy. Watch lively worlds burn, your favorite shops be demolished, and the stars that once guided you burst into a thousand pieces.

it has a solid concept but there's a lack of player feedback which makes you struggle more with the controls than the enemies. It gets frustrating when I consider a static solar body more of a threat due to not knowing my velocity vector than the enemies actively trying to kill me. And mind you I have played orbit simulation games before, I can't imagine how frustrating this is for a kid who isn't autistic about rocket science. The sprites are serviceable but the music & sound are just bad. Overall I do recommend it because it's 3 euros and a really cool concept. After taking a break I always go "Hm I could play Orbitous again, it was fun"
while i find the idea very fun i cant seem to find any of the upgrades or shops or anything thatd help me fight the enemies that get stronger over time so i inevitably die to them besides that its a great game that works as intended as far as i can tell
Orbitous is a hell of a game. I don't have very much time on it, but its super awesome how it's randomly generated with full 3-body physics. The combat is challenging - not only do you have to shoot your targets (which is hard in and of itself), but you have to evade their fire while SIMULTANEOUSLY making sure you dont crash into a star or black hole thanks to your evasion burns. The upgrades make gameplay easier, but at the cost of taking time away from the main objective. Graphics are also perfectly fine. 100%, consider trying it.
I love the physics, and the amount of absurd modifier combos there are. Getting jumpscared by a star was always one of my favorite moments. The story and music is also great and I hope this game gets more updates or a sequel of some kind. Occasionally there are bugs that can softlock you such as the mother nature boss not spawning if the planet is dead.
It's cool! Some feedback for the dev: * There a large space between the zoomed-in view, where you see the full ship, and the zoomed-out view, where you see the arrow icon, where it's hard to see the ship, and especially to tell which direction you're facing! In other words, the transition to arrow icon needs to happen sooner as you zoom out, and the icon could be easier to see as well. * The dialog system is... strange. The game doesn't pause, so ♥♥♥♥ might happen that you have to react to. You can "press W to turn off slow mo" but then you can't turn it back on. I need to have a clear "advance dialog" button, and Ideally a log, where I can go back and read what it said later after the planet is done crashing into the sun. * The Pop-ins. It's bad. It really kills that sense of exploration, and starts to just feel like I can go any direction and the game will just generate... "Stuff" for me to interact with. I get that you're going for this FULL SIM ethos, but I'm sure there are things you can tweak to make the universe more stable, so that you don't have to keep repopulating it in real time so often. One such possible fudge would be for the sim to use a different delta time, or a different Big G constant for planets than it does for small objects. * And just from a game design perspective.. More reasons to land on planets would be cool! ♥♥♥♥ to find. people trying to hitch a ride.. stuff like that. Anyways, good work, cheers!
THIS GAME SO GOOD BRO i hope it becomes better than minecraft and robloxxx rahh also the difficulty is good but like not too high :)
