Orbitous is an action roguelike where every object has gravity. Every planet, moon, star, enemy, projectile, is attracted to one another. Nothing is stationary in this procedurally generated galaxy. Fly between star systems, build weapons, and fight enemies.

About
Gravity is everywhere. Use sling-shot maneuvers to your advantage and shoot projectiles on curved trajectories. Gravity can guide you, but it can also be your downfall.
Nothing is stationary. Every star system is fully simulated, constantly orbiting around the black hole in the center of the galaxy. Watch the worlds around you collapse, explode, and merge into new ones.
There is no safe place in this galaxy. The Network is constantly hunting you down. And even if you think you've found comfortable ground to land on, there's no guaranteeing the endless tides of gravity won't wash it away.
Build better weapons to progress. Take an ordinary bullet and modify it into a shotgun, increase its mass until it's large enough to host orbiting projectiles, or add a field of heat to burn nearby enemies. There are many possibilities, and most modifiers are stackable.
Real time physics. After a bit of procedural generation, your fate is left to entropy. Watch lively worlds burn, your favorite shops be demolished, and the stars that once guided you burst into a thousand pieces.

wonderful game about nuking everything and damning the name of the sun god also protip: fire rate is BUSTED
This game is great. Worth more than 3$.
As you can see I haven't played the game for very long. I'm fascinated by the physics and all around that. But i find it very sad that if you die everything starts over from nothing. That makes it feel like a demo and not a complete game(I'm not sure if it should be) I followed Oddmins journey and the few videos he uploaded documenting his progress and was delighted as I found out about its availability here on Steam. Personaly I would find it soo much more fun if I could safe my progress and perhaps even built stuff. But all in all great concept. : )
Very fun even on first release and I love the gravity mechanics and how each system ties together. At first I didn't see how fuel would be a problem, then I started using boost and drifting till I blasted an enemy. Been following the dev's progress on youtube and I am glad to be able to support em!
the game is fun! I like it and its pretty cheap for how good it is. tho there are some problems I have but I am sure they will be fixed in the future. this might just be skill issue on my part but I get attacked so much I barely have a chance to read what the items do in the shop before I am being attacked again. I wish time would pause when I did that as its just frustrated me how long I live with a few hundred points and then just cant spend it because I am not given a second to do so. otherwise pretty fun as this is my only issue. I love the physics and just flying around in space. I always wanted a game like this and now it is here :] I would recommend it

This game is so cool, but it never stops being frustratingly difficult. I recommend the game because I might just have a skill issue and be super clumsy in only this game for no particular reason. It's not got too much depth from what the trailers show (and some of the later updates) but you shouldn't really have insane expectations for this price. The bosses and features are all unique, although it would be nice if it took a little more brainpower when using the modifiers, rather than just making it so whatever ♥♥♥♥ you throw at the wall sticks 100% of the time. Upgrades do work in a delicate balance though. Whether that balance is by design, or just because sometimes the upgrades feel hella underpowered, is up to you. Overall, strong premise, but the difficulty curve is more of a straight steep line from the beginning to end. Unless you get the hang of it straightaway, you'll stay being ♥♥♥♥♥♥ in the ass via bluetooth connection with an enemy 8 trillion km away the whole playthrough. 24/7.
I love this game! The movement took a while to get down, but I love the bosses and the modifiers are really cool. I think it would be cool if there were some more variety in plants. Maybe like some types of neutral alien planets to land on, with enemies that are passive unless attacked, but besides that I really enjoyed this game. Would recommend!
I love this game, most of the time. The gameplay is great, and the story is pretty decent. I love all the ways you can specialize a weapon in orbitous. however.... Stars. they can insta-kill you if you're not careful. The range between objectives is large enough that i tend to fly around at speeds of at least 200 m/s. But at that speed, there isn't sufficient warning when you are about to crash into a star, which could mean the end of your run. it's probably just my playstyle, but its still frusterating, as i've gotten to the final mission several times now, and always died at the last second either to a star or my own stupidity. I definitly reccomend you try this out; its cheap to buy, the mechanics are amazing to play with, and the story is pretty good. But just be careful of stars, and don't fly very fast. or do, i don't care.
A while ago, I didn't like this game and gave it a negative review. But it's been updated! The new update changes a lot, including adding a little box at the bottom left you can see your direction and threats. Some things haven't been changed I think would be for the better, but I'm not trying to backseat develop (?) But the new heat system changes a lot, as you don't just spam. Honestly Bifurcate/Scatter is a bit op but its ok. Overall I like the game! --- OLD REVIEW --- (for preservation) Soo... I won't deny it. This isn't really a good game. I didn't have that much fun playing it. However: As a fellow Unity dev, it is almost really good. It's an original idea, and it held my interest for a solid amount of time, until (this is not a complaint, it was funny and my fault) I flew into a star at 600 km/hr (or whatever units it is). Here are some of my major complaints, and fixes: -If you run out of fuel, it is easy to get surrounded by enemies. Maybe have them cluster around planets. - No clue where I'm going to fly! maybe add a little, short trajectory line -Easy to get disoriented. You should rotate the camera with the player orientation.
