Warning: Asset Flip!
Oracle Trials is a Digital Homicide style Unity asset flip, or what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The "developer" paid for/pirated a few Unity asset store packs , dumped them all in a blender, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers. It's important to also note the "developers" here didn't credit any of the artists and real, actual game developers who created the assets here, so this is plagiarism, as well as cash grab shovelware. It's a mish-mash of a couple of cheap Unity Asset Store assets and a basic platformer template... this is the result of a Russian hack ripping off the work of others and putting his own name on it, with no credit given to the actual game developers who made all the elements for the the game. Don't take my word for it, among the assets flipped are a couple of packages by Hippo, you can look for yourself and then look at the game... it's the same stuff, the "developer" here just ripped it off. Fantasy Monsters Animated Megapack provided all the enemies, and the protagonist was from the Fantasy Heroes Character Editor pack... and numerous other assets stolen from real developers and not properly credited. This guy wants your money for someone else's work. Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, Oracle Trials is yet another of literally thousands of 2D retro pixel platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere, except this one is worse due to the asset flip nature of the game and the highly unethical behaviour of the developer. It doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers. The poor quality of this game is reflected in the general public reception. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 2 players. That's right, only 2. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in the game is to be expected. Gamers just didn't take this low quality game seriously, and for good reason. Asset flips appeal as much to gamers as they appeal to human morality... not at all.
Warning: Review Manipulation!
This game features a number of fake positive reviews from accounts known to be in the business of review manipulation/paid reviews. They're all written in either Russian or broken English, appear at almost exactly the same time, very shortly after the game launched on Steam, all have a direct Steam purchase of the game, and the accounts are used consistently to write fake reviews for asset flips and other cash grabs/scams. The "Positive" review score on this game should be disregarded due to this blatant, unethical review manipulation. This is done to deceive and scam gamers into paying for a bad product. Oracle Trials is relatively cheap at $3 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, and the questionable ethical nature of the developer and/or their associates (as outlined above), this is impossible to recommend.
Oracle Trials is an interesting platformer with good graphics and quality soundtrack. The game is extremely simple and clear, in the spirit of other games of this genre, the complexity is felt here from the first level. I did not like two things: slow and tight attack and jumping, if it were done a little bit more cheerful, the game would not be worth the price.
If you love platformers as much as I do, then you should definitely play Oracle Trials. I won't say that this is a revolution in the genre, but it is a very high-quality platformer with a bunch of different features and an interesting perspective. I didn't expect anything from the game, but I got a lot of pleasure. The game has extremely nice graphics, great music and very responsive character controls. 7/10.

Game description key-points: This Gamash, but at least it has a decent look for the Kids! Overview: hardy can be recommended, but has a quite cute look for the kids to be curious about it. With a bit buggy platforms and surprise jumps - easy to fail the level.
Great 2D game, reminds me of Mario and a little plot, I liked the game very much, recently I only play 2D games, so the board game attacked me, I recommend the game to buy, everything is fine, cool)
I don’t know about other players, but this game reminded me of a SEGA, oh, a moment of nostalgia)))) Now about the game, good intuitive controls, nice music, a beautiful picture (I repeat in the style of games on SEGA)), quite a few levels. I have only positive emotions, I returned to my childhood, so to speak, of course I recommend)
Oracle Trials is a 2D platformer about a warrior in armor that reminds me of a kind of mario game. Yes, the graphics here are pixelated, but the musical accompaniment and an interesting story make you not pay attention to it. And as they say, we need to regain our strength by killing bad opponents.
A game for nostalgia, I really liked this game, because it was as if I was in the old 90s, the game itself is not difficult with pleasant music, also in the style of those years. I recommend buying!
