Oracle is a Tactical RPG that takes place during the Roman Conquest of Greece. You play as the Oracle of Delphi who has forseen the arrival of an unstoppable foe. With your ragtag party, you must travel the country, from the top of Olympus to the depths of the underworld, on a quest to change the very threads of fate. Throughout the game you will use your unique power of future sight to defeat overwhelming enemy forces until you confront the death of Greece herself. The game draws inspiration from classic tactics games, but brings new mechanics and ideas into play like future sight and movement attacks, as well as a story never told before.

Alright, So I played a decent chunk of this game I'll admit the story line was a little cheesy but it was fun at the same time it kept me entertained. I really love how challenging the game was that was one key thing I really liked about it. However the tutorial was very hard to figure out. I eventually did figure it out but it took me a while. If they added more to the tutorial I would of loved it more. Another thing I will mention is there were a lot of bugs in the game especially at the level Athens Harbor. It kept freezing when I was in the middle of battle. Overall this game is really great in my opinon there are just some mishaps in that need fixing^^ I give it 6/10 easy :)
i can't get the tutorial to work, i do what it says and it says wrong input.
Oracle: Threads of Fate is, at least in my opinion, a decent free release I got to play recently. The game doesn't look like much, but for a student game, I usually go in expecting much worse.
Well I got what I payed for.
I am glad this was free. The controls were cluncky. I froze the tutorial three times, because of said controls were not inputted the percise way the game wants you to do it. The combat curve is not there. One fight it is two guys, which is over in no time. The very next stage with no progression is 5 to 6. The menu needs alot of work on being able to navigate as well. You need to move using the arrow keys or WSAD, then click with your mouse. I don't make games, but that just seems like a very illogical thing to do. I can't even recommend as a free game due to the amount frustration it has going for it. As for art, music, and story, that is up to you how you feel if you are going to try.
Very poor instructions. How do you move, save game, exit game. Tutorial was move to spot. How? Attack enemy character. How?
It is a good game, but the graphics is abit on the yuck side. Pros - decent gameplay, simple but decent char. models, and good artwork (excluding battle and main map walking) Cons - duing the main map when you move your char. to a place the char. gose to nagative colors and then back to normal after the chr. stops. Some of the squares is plain grey in the battle maps. Horrable tutorial that i just perss F1 just to skip it and found out from exsperiance that WASD is to move everything and J to select and Back Space to cancel. It maybe short, but I like it so I'll give it a thumbs up.
