Experienced on the Meta Quest 3
You can view my gameplay & early impressions here: https://youtu.be/gebjQ0SM-hU While this isn't the worst VR game I have ever played, it is probably the worst VR port I have played. The VR implementation is just horrible. I'm not sure it was even tested to make sure it worked. So what's bad about the VR here? Well, do you like teleport only? Because that's what you're getting here. Teleport only and there's several places where you can't teleport to. Do you like smooth or snap turning available in your VR game? Haha, you're not getting that here either. Do you like an inventory system that is either non-functional or so convoluted that a PCVR veteran who has played thousands of VR games just couldn't figure out how to pull out a key from a mobile phone-like app system? Because that's what this game has. I am totally stumped on the first puzzle ... pulling out the key that's inventoried on your phone app. I tried everything I could think of and pushed every button to no avail! Maybe you can figure it out! Optimization is also pretty bad. I was getting 144-60 variable frames per second. Game is running on the Unreal Engine. Other VR interactions such as opening a gate door were pretty bad, along with a dialogue choice that I have no idea if I made a choice or not. You also have to play standing because otherwise you're too low to the ground. I have no idea if the game is good. However, keep in mind that the non-VR version is free to play with paid DLC for chapter 2. This game is $6.66 for the main game, with paid DLC that is a little less than $4 USD. Based on what I played, I am going to refund. One last thing, the whole thing is in Portuguese. Hope you can speak it! There may have been a setting in the phone app, but by default it's all Portuguese so good luck figuring out the phone apps! Rate ?/10. I'm going to refund.
I bought this (but will refund it).
