Cant personally see a reason to not recommend this game considering it’s free to p[ay and overall is quite decent. Lets start with a few positives love the reload and chambering animations of guns and most guns seem to have their own unique animation for this, the detail on each gun looks really good most seem quite similar in my eyes to the real life counterparts, graphics to me are similar to Easy Red 2 which I don’t mind considering it’s free, modding community is amazing loads of different mods to try and easy to install, free to play which is amazing with optional DLCs and no signs of cosmetic purchases, fan of the different roles and maps all maps seem quite decent, love how you can play in different eras and factions of war ranging from WW2 to more modern wars even better with mods as you can play in an ukr vs rus setting, performance seems to be solid getting around 80-105 fps average 1080P with the lowest being around 65fps and highest being 165fps obviously this could also depend on your display mine is 165hz, does not seem to be any major bugs or glitches. However there has been an few negatives I have noticed first of for it being tactical game you would expect ai to be smart when it comes to tactics however that's not the case they get easily stuck whether that in front of walls or in a room instead of using walls or items as cover they instead decide to stay in open areas, randomly lob smoke grenades around etc I get its multiplayer focussed but I would expect slightly better AI, some maps there are only 1 spawn locations for each team which is the main base so most of the time you have to spend 5 mins running across the map just to get to objective which can be annoying especially when you die the minute you get to objective seen this more with mod maps, multiplayer is mediocre at best most servers have less than 10 players at a time with only 2 servers having a good amount of players, some enemies seem unbalanced example of this is when you shoot one enemy 5-7 times in body and head for them to then they go onto to one shot you then others are really easy to kill, lack of sounds apart from gun shots, scoreboard can be hard to see in certain areas like bright areas this is as the writing blends in with light coloured walls due to it being white and cant check it whilst moving instead that opens up an steam tab. Overall not an bad game considering its free would definitely recommend trying it out.
so i love watching Rubixraptor play arma and the reason why I'm saying this is because i want a more hardcore trauma style game. also bots are bugged and wont fire at me when in custom lobbies, also hoping for helicopters.
