Reviews
Can't recommend that anyone plays this game nowadays. But if you got to play it one release... There's nothing like it. Don't buy it now, you missed your chance.
Loved this game growing up. The multiplayer battles were brutal as well. Think I made it up to CW3 or CPT or something. Too bad I'm showing my age, LilGunner if you're still out there hit me up!
Great for its time. Aged quite dramatically though. However it is still fun.

Dégouté, mon jeu a été supprimé de steam sans me prévenir, maintenant qu'il est désinstallé je ne peu plus le réinstaller !!! surtout que j'ai la clé CD !
⚠️ Mixed ⏱️ 0.2 hrs on record 🔹 Not Completed Campaign similar to arma2
2002年左右,我接触了第一代得闪点行动,那时候是伴随着我真个小学时期的作品,二代伴随着我整个初高中。游戏是真的很好优秀,因为题材得敏感性知晓的人不多
GOAT'd game
Picture being thrown onto some forgotten island in the Pacific, guts twisted with tension, with one single certainty: lift your head one inch above the grass and you're dead. Welcome to Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising. A 2009 game. Let me say that again: two thousand nine. While the rest of the gaming world was busy jerking off to glossy shaders and photorealistic explosions going "boom" like a Transformers trailer, Dragon Rising grabs you by the collar, spits in your face and screams: "This is war. And it sucks." Forget the Call of Duty games where you're a rockstar in kevlar, where every bullet has your name on it and every checkpoint is a warm hug. Here, a single shot kills you. And not in style. No slow-motion death drop, no epic last words. You just… die. The end. Try again. Maybe this time don't go sprinting upright across an open field, genius. This is the one and only rightful heir to the real Operation Flashpoint. The original, the 2001 one, that dumped you in your underwear on an island full of armed Russians and said: "Good luck, soldier." Forget Arma 3, with its aerospace-engineering menus and its armchair-simulator attitude. Dragon Rising is dirty. Brutal. Authentic. It's like Apocalypse Now had wild, filthy sex with a military strategy lecture, and the bastard kid is you, an M4 in your hands and a waypoint half a kilometer away. The graphics? Old. But they've got the charm of scars: every aged pixel is a reminder that time passes, but the spirit stays. The AI? It won't hold your hand. It shoots you, flanks you, kills you. It doesn't play fair. It doesn't have to. It's war. And here's the craziest part: Dragon Rising still holds up. Today. In a world where FPS games have turned into theme parks, it's still here to remind you that war is exhausting, chaotic and frustrating. Not a slow-motion shootout with a Hans Zimmer soundtrack. This game doesn't make you feel powerful. It makes you feel present. And in an industry that force-feeds you adrenaline and instant gratification, that's an act of insubordination. A blasphemy. It's art. So play it. Or don't. But know this: Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising is the true heir. The only one. The rest is just cosplay.
