I'm having a great time with One Many Nobody, I'm just sorry I don't have enough time to play it every day as much as I'd like! I'll just enjoy it slowly at weekends away from work. It's a really well-made platformer/puzzler, with near-perfect controls and just the right amount of challenging puzzles. I enjoyed the gradual difficulty curve in the first area of the game, I hope this gradualness is maintained going forward. I like puzzles challenging enough, I don't like to smash my head in after a mentally demanding work day and OMN is perfect for me. Also nice is that the action is quite varied and always interesting with the constant addition of new dynamics, enemies, etc. The retro graphics are very well done and atmospheric. The only minor flaws are some uncertainties in the controls in some rare cases and the level map that could be more usable, perhaps with self-centring on the next level and a more manageable scroll. Highly recommended for lovers of the genre!
Gioco molto interessante made in Italy!
Assolutamente consigliato!
A very nice puzzle-game with a dystopic story! This game has innovative and fun mechanics, such as cloning. The difficulty of the levels is balanced to give the player a good gaming experience. The retrowave style pixel art graphic is are very cool and animations are dynamic and really well detailed!
Top-notch puzzle-platformer with stellar pixel art. I don't know how the devs made a pompadour move so dynamically with just a few pixels but it's terrific!
Up there with Celeste. Nice story.
Platform/rompicapo ottimo, meccanica interessantissima, gira benissimo su steam deck.
This game is not just another puzzle/platform game like many I played before. It features a brand new way of playing through cloning, a breakthrough idea I've never seen before in this kind of games. The gameplay is well balanced too, it never gets too easy nor too hard so it keeps me focused and interested all the time. Well done chestnut!
After completing the first portion of the game I’m happy to say that I’m really enjoying One Many Nobody, it starts from a simple idea that goes straight to the point with appealing design and aesthetics and it does its job well, also thanks to the synthwave soundtrack, cyberpunk theme and pixel-art graphics. The core aspect of the game is in the cloning mechanics, which blend nicely with the puzzle-solving aspect of each room and lead you to think while having multiple characters in the same stage. You can either plan every next step, or go by trial and error and test your move with the possibility to reset the room whenever it’s needed. Also I think the difficulty is well handled, with levels becoming more challenging as you progress without becoming frustrating. Sincerely, good job for the Chestnut devs! Personal side note: I really appreciated the background animations in every level
A pretty good and addictive puzzle game. While some of the later stages can get you to bang your head against your desk, the game itself doesn't overstay it's welcome as I was able to 100% the game in about 6 hours. If you want a quick puzzle game with a fun mechanic, this may be the game for you.
