One Late Night is a short first-person horror game set in an empty office building after hours, aiming to build tension through atmosphere and isolation rather than action. For me, it was slow and pretty boring — not much really happens, and the pacing never picked up enough to keep me engaged. On top of that, it felt poorly optimized and laggy, which didn’t help the experience at all. The idea is fine on paper, but the execution made it hard to enjoy or feel genuinely unsettled.
really good and fun game :D

Long story short: laggy and bugged. Thank me later
What's with all the negative reviews, I had over 100 fps when I clipped through the elevator and was stuck in the shaft.
hate to say this since i liked the first game when pewdiepie played it but this game has a sleep function which puts u on a timer to figure out whats going on i spend 9 minutes and still had no idea what i was do while fully exploring the map there is no objective it seems like just locked doors u cant enter the game is creepy a bit but it seems even that is the game not coded properly its sad to see this game like this i expected far better
One Late Night: Deadline macht echt einiges richtig.
difficult to leave a positive review but I really want to keep supporting this series. i played it for 10 hours and couldn't complete the game, because of one missing soul (3/4 error) even though i already had found them all. (elevator box, entrance 3rd level, ground, vending machine) negative: - throughout the entire game my mouse was on my second and third screen, because it couldn't be locked in the game-application window. (it always moved to the other monitors) - this game has probably the worst quest-system i ever played, because there was no explanation or navigation arrow/pin in-game, where i was forced to search the whole builiding to get them done. therefore different quests were solved in different order which influenced the good ending positive: - i really like the idea that you can save your game on a coffee machine (i ran to them immediately after a quest could be completed, because the game is very sensitive to crashes) - gameplay is exciting because I like the idea that you have to use the pills or drinks continuously to stay awake
I bought this game because of the original One Late Night game I played more than 10 years ago, but this game sucks! Slow walking, it's so laggy, but I am sure that my computer can handle it. I am not sure how to get where even on easy mode. I really wanted to give this game a chance, despite bad reviews, but... don't buy this game. It's really bad.
Actually it's a nice game with a very good level design (any office working person can relate), but the performance issues, lasting for years now make the game implayable.
