Omega Survivor is a sci-fi bullet hell, part of the new "Survivor" genre with loot, crafting and lots of alien blasting to be done. The perfect game for those that just want to relax and turn off their brain.

Dev abandoned game back in Feb. Still tons of issues with imbalance and picking up items. You run at a snails pace and earn nothing of worth to upgrade with. He needs to speed up the heroes by alot, Make loot or gold drops in larger amounts...and fix all the bugs. But..he refuses.
Omega Survivors has a nice overall feel to it. The action is fluid, and the skill tree is well-made. Leveling up your profile is somewhat of a chore, and there is no guide to character unlocks or general enemy stats. This means that I am confused when six out of the eight survivors are locked at level four, and I am unsure of just what to save up for in the skill-tree to combat certain enemies. So a creature encyclopedia of some sort would be a nice touch. Graphically, the assets are pretty good. Simple yet detailed characters, and unique enemies with defining features. The difficulty levels ("Easy" to "I Woke Up Today And Chose Violence") have a balanced yet insane rise in challenge. If you don't have a weapon equipped that can deal at least 100 damage, you won't make it three seconds on IWUTACF difficulty. The flavor texts are interesting, i'll give it that. Adds a bit of comedic value to this project. The shopping mechanic is fun, although when you get a weapon with at least 100 max damage, save your money for the skills. Anyways, every time you exit and re-open the shop, you get a new selection. It somehow feels like an exploit, since you can grind cash in-game, and keep refreshing the shop until you get an absolutely broken weapon. Either that, or you can decompose enough weapons to craft a uniquely-built weapon. There are...a lot of possible combinations. Once I find a day to spend a few hours to go through every possible combination, i'll make a guide or something. To my knowledge, you need to decomp a minimum of 20 items (if you are only decomping items valued at 1k) to craft one of your own. This game has some potential, and I feel that this game can improve a bunch if more people try the game to provide feedback and suggestions. Good luck with this release and all others that you peruse, Astro!
Another gem by AstroMonkey, this time in the same vein as vampire survivors! i didn't last very long but the atmosphere was tense enough to keep me wanting to play more !
