OCTOPATH TRAVELER™

Después de más de 90 horas y como veterano de los RPG´s, ese juego me ha dado buenos momentos, algunas nostalgias, algunos retos, claro este juego no tiene niveles de dificultad, solo se centra en realizar 8 muy buenas historias y el contenido adicional digamos que seria 4 bosses adicionales que la verdad luego de tener una buena estrategia no representan un gran reto, pero si dan una gran recompensa. luego de ahí no hay más retos. Ahí se queda corto este título, pero si lo compras en una rebaja, no es mala inversión y si te entretiene.

The game is good, but the final boss will force you to grind all travelers to around lvl 70, which is way past the point the story will take you. And you will find that out after a long boss gauntlet with no opportunity to save.

3/5 I'll start with the positives, beautiful art style, great music and a really engaging battle system. HOWEVER, this game lacks any amount of soul or heart. The writing is bland, and the character stories are not engaging. The early part of the game is based upon recruiting your other party members, each gives their personal backstory and motivation for setting out on their adventures. By the time I got to my 4th party member, i started to skip cutscenes, which I have never done in any game up to this point. The backstories were truly uninteresting and painful to sit through. If story and dialogue are less of a concern for you, then this can be a good game, but for a JRPG, I expect to be completely immersed in the world and invested in the characters. Octopath fails completely on that front.
