Oblivion Tesseract VR 10 из 10
I like this game. Needs some polish still. Things like at the start it has an instruction screen. It's very blurry at first. I finally figured out if I leaned toward it, it would come into focus. Also did not realize it scrolled side to side with more pages at first. Also the game needs left handed setup. I am right handed, but I can see that a left handed person might have some trouble as the vender crystal is on the left side set up for a right handed person.
Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers
This game is a blast to play in spurts. However, overall lack of polish holds back the potential of this game. And the game seems to have been abandoned by dev and that's why it's free to play now. So what is this game? It seems like a Tower Defense game, but it doesn't really play like one. And although it is in first person view, it feels like you're really in God mode and you're in control of the universe. The action takes place 180 degrees in front of you and you are stationary. Enemies walk or fly in or teleport from out of nowhere to attack your base and you as well. So you have to protect the "Tower" and yourself. You have three guns to select. I think you unlock guns as you progress. However, only one gun, the slow shooting gun has unlimited ammo. So you have to be selective when you use the other guns, basically when the *hit hits the fan. You can put down defenses to help you along, as well as get health. Killing enemies gives you crystals for these upgrades. Therein, lies one of the major problems. I had difficulties getting the health upgrade. i don't know why. I was able to get it with no problems at first, but now I can't get it at all, even though I have more than enough crystals for the health. And just starting the game is unintuitive (I think you align the holo wizard and let go). The whole thing starts with a story book that you flip around. The visuals look nice. The action is fast-paced. You basically get no breathers in between waves. It's just constant waves so I suggest dropping down cannon at first, then the 70 crystal costing laser thing. And save your ammo for crisis mode. Unleash the holo guy to your right when you can. And shoot & reload your slow pistol fast! Rate 6/10. Fun game, just needs polish really. Probably something you'll play for 30 minutes to 1 hour and then never play again. Still it's a fun 30 minutes to 1 hour of free gameplay.

Oblivion Tesseract VR is a weird VR tower defense game. It worked on my HTC Vive and Index system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. There are very few instructions, too many questions unanswered. No other sources of info. Might take many confused runs through to figure out everything. CONS: Does Not work with Meta Quest 3 via Steam Link. Try it and delete it.

"Oblivion Tesseract VR" is a weird and rather pooly made/unpolished VR tech demo that combines some interesting concepts... badly. What do you do in the game? This is a blend of static FPS and tower defense... place towers and deal with incoming (tiny) enemies... bad, slightly asset flip looking graphics round out a rather poor gaming experience that seriously needs a tonne of polish before it's ready to ship. Oh, they shipped it anyway? Ah yes, that's why we're here. The graphics aren't great... that will understandably be a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. It's VR exclusive, and that shows the developer failed to understand the most basic axiom of VR game design... if the only cool thing about your product is VR support, your product is not cool. It's free... now, but it wasn't before. The developer was charging $3 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It's a nice gesture for the game to be given away for free, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 3 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
