About

Choose your story and location for a future colony, and embark on an exciting expedition filled with economic and industrial challenges. Protect your people from the artificial intelligence enslaving the world.

Build new ships and combine different modules—your actions are limited only by technological progress and available resources.
Each ship is equipped with an artificial intelligence system based on task assignments that depend on the installed modules.
Ships remember where you send them and strive to form the behavior patterns you need.

Your people need resources, without which they will leave the colony. Maintain their well-being, as your colony's production and progress depend on them.

Design optimal districts that can operate stably even during the toughest crises. Use all available tools: establish logistics between warehouses, trade, create reserves, and pass necessary laws.

Adopt pacts and objectives that will temporarily or even permanently improve your colony. Choose carefully, as such major decisions can only be made rarely.

Automate trade with other colonies and trade networks, find the most profitable routes, and speculate on the market. Unlock new opportunities through diplomatic objectives and pacts.

Oblivion enslaves weak colonies and sends them to attack others. You will need to assemble your own battle fleet to counter these assaults and defend against the rise of the machines.

Oblivion attacks your buildings and ships using viruses, causing you to temporarily lose control over them.
Destroy the nodes using offensive pacts, or protect your base with Firewall-equipped buildings.

Cons: - Goals and influence slots are an interesting mechanics. - Ships are fairly flexible and configurable Issues: - Linear progressions. Tech tree is practically a straight line. - Weak economy. Early on it feels fine, but for a colony sim it's very simple and undetailed, it quickly becomes boring. - Lack of QOL. Lack of hotkeys (like space doesn't pause), bottom list of ships quickly becomes a mess, managing routes is a pain. - Generally not engaging enough. Early on it's fine, but as game progresses there is often little for player to do. Sometimes you have to wait for resources or research, sometime you wait for comnstruction to finish, sometimes for a goal to complete. In EA the game started with an insteristing concept where you were building you fleet between missions. Repeatability in scope of those missions was tedious, lack of QOL was making things worse, colony sim part was very weak, but building your fleet seemed promising and overal game felt somewhat interesting. Game received a number of new mechanics since then, but sadly it also changed from mini missions with building fleet in between (sort of like star volves did it, but for economy) to a colony sim focus with negligble colony sim improvements.
When I first saw this game I was super excited about it because of what it promised to be. Once I got into it, it was a little different than I expected, but I still put well over 5 hours into it to explore it to see what it's all about. Overall I can recommend it, but with reservations. The game is a mixture of base building, resource transformation, with a splash of an RTS feel lumped into it. Much like an RTS, you are building up your base to produce the resources required to build ships in order to defend your base from the enemy. You can turn this feature off completely, though, and no one will ever attack. The real point of the game, though, is to manage protecting your base while you are trying to do research to unlock the whole tech tree to launch the oasis mission. The game includes several different maps that offer slightly different challenges in terms of resource location, camping enemies, and so on and so forth. The replayability will be good once you consider the different maps and all the different gameplay levers you can adjust. There are some bugs here and there and some quality of life features that would be needed to really make it awesome, but I don't regret at all the time I spent with Oasis Mission and I look forward to seeing how the dev helps it along over time!
I really wanted to like this Game. Wanting to and actually liking are two different things. The Youtube video hype is false. The game is bugged. To top it off i was afk looking up 1 of the bugs i was having and i went over the 2 hours played time for a refund. From what i experienced its not just that save its every save. Could be a fun game but in its current form and misleading hype and pictures its definitely not what was expected. not even worth finding a "free" copy.
I have to say that the idea is great. The game is great, the music is good, the graphics are great. Interesting design of both ships and buildings. Some elements are new, interesting. Some are terrible, for example the combat (only missiles. Ships that have been ordered to attack will launch missiles in a place where the enemy is no longer there, because they have flown away in the meantime). The combat is boring, the missile is fired and then you wait 20 seconds, the ships don't even move. What's also scary is that some of my defense ships simply fly away somewhere, even in combat. Unfortunately, it's an unfinished game, you can see it in the descriptions of some ships (tempest_label). The game would be amazing, just finish it and then do a few QoLs, which are needed. Otherwise, it's a great idea and it's a shame that it didn't make more money so that the developer would have the motivation to finish it. It's a real shame. If the developer finishes the game, I'll be happy to change the rating to recommended, because it really is an excellent game.
Meh
needs some fixing warehouses are mixed and there is no option to specify resources logistical routes are bugged , mules or trucks end up filling nearby warehouses this is a game breaking mechanics that made it impossible for me to go past Steel Forge mission no load save game option no acutomatic save (i guess)
