I'd give this game a neutral rating if I could, a 2.5 stars if you would. From what I've played of it, this game really could have been something real, something big, something really good. Unfortunately the bugs ruin this game. Specifically the fact that saves are effectively nonexistent. Re-entering a previous save file placed me in a blank void, effectively soft locking me and ruining the save file. Otherwise, the game has a random chance to completely forget your saves. You could open the game and see your save, close it and open it again, and it'll be gone. This game could've been something.
Goodness Gracious... That was amazing. Everything about this game was awesome, the art, the story, and the general vibe. Play this game right now. It took me like 2 and a half hours to beat this game, it was great.

Not what I expected. It end being just an ok game I decided to discontinue because gameplay wasn't that fun for me. Just my opinion.
I liked the throwback pixel art (like 8 bit heck almost atari 4 bit) style. The atmospheric music is nice and the lore and mystery of it all is engaging at least for me. I like the more laid back exploratory/puzzle typeplatformer game that it is although I wish the controls were a little more polished (but even that feels like a throwback though maybe not in a good way lols). its very old school , but its pretty charming and entertaining for me.
amazing game, overlooking all the bugs :) never alone.
The visuals and the narrative are really enganging. Unfortunately, my saved game was lost the next time I played due to some bug and I lost the progress. Hope it can be fixed in some update, it would be worth it.
It's a good game, even w/ bugs, i don'wanna quit. I'll come back for more. this it it by now.
I needed the affirming words the creator left in the game. And I'm sure they do to. I love Nyktra. It's way more polished than the comments make it up to be. I love every pixel of it, every note in the music, and every word in its story. I enjoyed the humorous inside jokes, the chaos and the similarities to Fez. And the galactic theme was nice as well with an incredible array of environments. The puzzles and mechanics were nice too, allthough I would have liked more! And the fact that Mineko and other easter eggs were in it just makes it easier even better. And no, it never crashed for me, I never even found a bug.
Beautiful
For a free game the pixel graphics are awesome, the story is fun, and it's totally worth playing for all the love that went into this little game.
"Seatbelts are for people who want to feel safe, and that's not us."
😂 The best line in the game thus far. Plays wonderfully on the steam deck as well. What are you waiting for? Check out NYKRA! Support the Devs with a nice comment. Give this game some well-deserved love. 🩵
