Ok so, I got this game when it was 100% off because it looks amazing and reminiscent of Little Nightmares, which is a game I adore with all my heart (if you can tell by my profile lmao). However I was sorely disappointed. I've played for 1 hour to make sure I had a fair try at playing. Music: In the trailer there's loads of ambiance and creepy sounds, whereas in the game there's practically none. There's little no ambiance in the game with the occasional ting sound. All of my sounds were on 100%. As for chase scenes, no chase music there either, the only thing to tell you you're being chased is the groaning and heavy footsteps. As for the death scene music, it doesn't fit at all. It's not scary, or makes you think "oh my gosh I need to try harder to not do that because it was unpleasant" it just feels like dying is a mild inconvenience at most, rather than scary. Controls + "tutorial": At the start it says for best experience use a controller, so I did. However it's so finicky and sensitive with no option to change controller sensitivity. As for the "tutorial" you can hardly see when it's telling you what buttons to use on the side of a car or something, it shows both keyboard and controller and personally it could have been done far better. The amount of times I got stuck in the first few minutes because I couldn't see what buttons it was telling me to press, and combined with the fact it randomly let go of objects, refused to grab the object with the paint, and failed to climb over things just made it incredibly difficult to get though the first part. Lighting + Graphics: In the trailer it's dark, it's moody, and have almost a VHS effect around the edges like a vignette would. In game though it's a lot brighter and spots that are meant to be darker just aren't. Such as the cinema lobby, it's meant to be dark in there, but it's not. It's light and has no dark or moody vibes from the world in general. The VHS effect too is all over the screen, not just the edges, and makes the game blurry and even harder to see than it already was. Camera angles: This is where my biggest problem lies, the camera angles are by far the worst part. I can't see around corners, I can't see where I'm going, and I can't move the camera to where I like it. It clips through walls, goes behind walls where you can't see, doesn't turn to show you where you're going until you're halfway down the street and don't know if you're gonna run into something or get stuck. During the first chase, you get stuck on the 2nd blue car that sticks out, or the 2nd pillar attached to the wall right in front of the staircase, because the camera angle isn't right and you can't see if you're going around them or straight into them. Respawn points: I found these really weird. In the cinema, when you finally see the and get the first fuse in the box and the leftmost door opens, in that room if you get the 2nd fuse and then die, (2nd image on store page) instead of saving where you got the item you need to progress, it respawns you in the lobby where instead of just having to come back with the 3 spotlights active, you have to do the whole thing again with the 3 spotlights active, which makes it really difficult. Why not save when you get the item and respawn where you got it? Makes no sense, with the staircase too it was hard to figure out what to do. You have to run ahead of the hands through walls rather than wait for them, which took 10+ tries to figure out, and every single time, instead of respawning at the 1st staircase landing, you would respawn at the very start of the chase and hope you didn't get stuck on the 2nd blue car and 2nd pillar. Again, really weird. Getting stuck: This one isn't one I ran into as much however it did happen. I don't mean getting stuck as in you can jump out, but as in you have to respawn because you physically cannot get unstuck. Again, in the cinema on the 2nd store page image, to the far bottom right there's a ramp of wood and boxes. To the right is a space in between the rows of seats, you can get stuck in there if you're not careful and have to respawn, and remember, you have to do the whole thing again because you respawn in the lobby rather then just after you've picked up the item. I tried for about 3min to get out of that spot but it wasn't possible and had to respawn, so despite being almost done with that part, I had to respawn and do it all again. This happened twice, and the 2nd time is when I decided to call quits. All in all, I really tried to like this game, it looks on the store page that a lot of effort has gone into it but sadly it's not what was expected and had lots of issues meaning it was frustrating rather than fun. I wouldn't recommend this unless you're fine with everything stated
tiene buena trama solo le falta obtimizar se me buguea aveces
