About

Inspired by the tabletop card game Scoundrel Solitaire, Number Dungeon does away with the four suits, and in its place has dozens upon dozens of potential encounters incorporating the monster-item-weapon formula. Strategy is key in this numbers game - know which move is the best at any given time to clear any dungeon you face!

See if you can clear set "trials", holding true to this game's Scoundrel Solitaire roots. First take on a recreation of the classic, then take on more advanced decks that twist the core gameplay loop more and more with each successive challenge. With both a linear set of dungeons and a couple of hidden challenges, can you clear them all?

Test your skills in a randomly generated dungeon that never ends with over 190 different boons and banes to encounter. Try to clear as many encounters as you can before your health hits 0, with high scores, a seed system, different zones to uncover, and many rare secrets only in this mode!

Extremely fun on Gauntlet - just wish that the trials were a tad bit easier. Other than that, the game's strategies are quite fun to learn and the price is perfect! Highly recommend it!
this game makes me want a burger, too...
I'm not much of a rogueliker, but Number Dungeon is a pretty addictive little arcadey experience that feels fun to pop in within spurts of gameplay that tests balanced decision making. It has a simple but enjoyable style across the board and has plenty to offer with every run, especially in the main gauntlet mode where familiarity can often be clashed with various new elements one may have never encountered before. The game is easy to adapt and understand, but quite a feat to master. Newcomers may be a bit put off by some of its mechanics that may appear difficult to fully grasp, but aren't by any means hard to comprehend. For a first full venture into development and publishing, I think John G. (Green) Vertacore has made a sound leap into both worlds.

I guess its worth it for the price, but there's not much of a game here. You can get maybe 15 minutes of fun out of it.
