Null and Void is a darkly satirical blend of roguelike, deckbuilding and tower-defence genres. Set in a retrofuturist scifi future, this is a game about doing a terrible job, very well.

About
DEEP IN DEBT? VEXCORP BELIEVES IN SECOND CHANCES.
Through the Resource Acquisition Technician program, VEXcorp delivers opportunity to the galaxy's most needy. Qualified applicants receive a mining rig and exclusive access to interdimensional crystal deposits across the sector. Process valuable resources, clear your debts, finally contribute to society, and even retire wealthy!
Apply for the R.A.T. program today!
Terms and conditions apply. Quota is non-negotiable. Retirement subject to eligibility.
Lay conveyors to route raw extradimensional crystal into your rig, then build the defences that process it into a useful powder. Your deck is your toolkit: towers, structures, tech cards and upgrades drafted across a run, and the combos you assemble are the difference between hitting quota and being written off as a training expense. Visit exotic planets all across the sector, each one a fresh deposit.
Every contract is a node by node ascent through VEXcorp territory, and the route is yours to choose. Take the safe job or the profitable one. Your destination is the Breach, helpfully held open by VEXcorp, where a deposit large enough to clear your ledger is waiting.
Your conduct is on file, and so is everyone else's. The people you meet out here remember what you did last time, whether you helped them or sold them out to make quota. Locations shift between contracts. So does what you know about the company you work for.
VEXcorp. Wherever you go, we're already there.

I picked this up and have played it for a few hours. So far the game seems really polished, the art is great, and the writing is fun. The card based tower and route building means that the gameplay stays fresh. I'm still only able to get to wave 7-8 for most runs, so I think there is enough of a ceiling here for tower defence fans to get into and optimise. I hope they keep adding to it. The format of the game would allow for more cards, locations, and events to keep things fresh, but what's there already is well worth the low cost.
You like Emberward? You are gonna like this! Just days into EA, it's already one of my favorite tower defense games of the year. Yeah, the content is a bit light, but it is only $10, which is a damn steal! If the devs follow up with the same quality of content as the game already has, it'll be one of the better TD games we have seen in quite awhile.

Fun game, you have unlimited use mazing tiles and limited use tower cards and play usually 10-20 waves per world, maybe 6 or so worlds in a run. You get a pretty good deck synergy early enough in the run to enjoy it. The limited use of towers works great with the deck building as your towers are higher value early on and your deck will naturally skew that way. Its a good value for the price, but I am Hoping for more content as I think I will have seen it all pretty soon.
Really enjoyable rogue-light style TD. Right mix of fun, comedy, slick graphics and interfaces, and gameplay. The only thing it is missing to get a regular rotation on my playlist is persistent perks/meta progress but I read a comment where the devs said that was coming. Looking forward to it!
Took me a little while to get the hang but it was a good tower defence game once I did. Needs some more levels, though.
Null and Void is a fun tower defence roguelike game crossed with map node progression systems like Inscryption or Slay the Spire, where resource management, deck-building and risk evaluation are important tools to succeed in the long haul. You play as a single lowly worker for a large mega-corporation, exploring the depths of space for valuable minerals that might one day let you pay off your debts and finally retire. The art and aesthetics are retro sci-fi, but the dialogue hints at things far more dystopian. Mechanics are clear and simple, and UI is clean and unobtrusive, with tutorial boxes kept to a minimum - I respect the hell out of the effort that goes into that when many other games opt for barrages of tutorial windows. I look forward to playing the full release.
I am terrible at this game, yet I want to keep mining and earning those sweet VEXBUCKS
Ive played for a few hours now and its really good
Poggers champion :)
I've had a blast trying the game out so far an really looking forward to the full version! Amazing art style and visuals with interesting characters. The gameplay mixes slay the spire deck building with tight tower defence gameplay. Can't wait to see where they take this game.
