About
NTE is a supernatural open-world RPG developed by Hotta Studio. The story begins in the city of Hethereau, where you play as its first "unlicensed" Anomaly Hunter. You'll join the crew at Eibon, a rundown antique shop that keeps the lights on by taking Anomaly commissions from anyone willing to pay. Alongside a diverse cast of extraordinary companions, you'll unravel urban mysteries, ride out adventures full of laughs and heartbreak, and write your own stories in the neon-lit streets.
Welcome to the first stop in your appraisal career—Hethereau, a sprawling and vibrant metropolis!
In the crowded halls of the Bureau of Anomaly Control, hopeful Oddities queue up for resident permits, while over at the train station, an Esper commuter snaps his fingers to clean his work suit on the fly. Down one block, a chaotic chase after Danzaburou is spiraling out of control; while across the street, a vacationing silver-gloved Butler is shooting the breeze with the owner of a second-hand electronics shop. Everywhere you look, there's no shortage of intriguingly "abnormal" scenes.
Want to dive deeper into a world where humans and the supernatural coexist? Start your journey in Hethereau to see it for yourself. The lively and quirky daily life here is a grand adventure in itself.

That wraps up today's 10AM broadcast. Stay tuned for mysterious Anomalies, unbreakable "Oaths," and the ever-growing shadow of the colossal "Circle" organization, looming larger in the fragmented echoes of "Prophecies"...
Explore hidden shops tucked away in back alleys and meet their enigmatic owners, along with absurdly overpowered bodyguards, "jack-of-all-trades" robotic butlers, troublemakers who can't help finding problems, and TV-headed repairmen with some very curious eating habits.
As part of the Eibon crew, you'll never be short on energetic companions for the road ahead.
Expand your social circle starting from the bustling Hankaku Street! Meet members from different factions and add them as "Bagel" friends!
From the tight-knit neighborhood of street shops to the city's unique hunter organizations, countless side stories await—ready for you to make friends and forge bonds across every corner of Hethereau.
Explore the city on your own terms—stick to familiar routines or shake things up.
Customize your ride and tear through the city streets, or hop on the Ghost Train to cut through Anomaly space and arrive in a flash.
In your downtime, swing by the old shops on Hankaku Street to browse their secret seasonal stock, or buy a cozy little home and deck it out to your liking.
Go at your own pace, follow your instincts, and let Hethereau reward you with colorful days worth remembering.

I love it just incredible
From Neverness to Everness, как говорится.
NTE: Great City, Great Combat, But Where Are All the Men?
Neverness to Everness is the kind of game where you log in thinking: “I'll just finish this one quest.” Five minutes later, you're driving around Hethereau. Ten minutes later, you're fighting an anomaly. Twenty minutes later, you're doing something completely unrelated. An hour later: “Wait… what was I supposed to be doing?” And honestly? That's part of the fun.
⚔️ The combat? I actually like it.
I've seen people compare NTE's combat to other games and say it's nothing special, but personally? I enjoy it. It's flashy, fast, and satisfying without requiring me to study a 47-page thesis titled “Optimal Rotation for Pressing Buttons Correctly.” Switching characters and chaining attacks feels good, and there's enough going on that combat doesn't feel like something I'm rushing through just to get back to the story. Sometimes I actually log in because I feel like beating something up. Very healthy hobby. Just like you.
🌆 Hethereau might be the real main character here.
The city is probably one of NTE's biggest strengths. It feels less like an open-world map and more like a second life you accidentally installed. You can drive around, explore, mess with side activities, interact with characters, and generally waste time in increasingly creative ways. The best part? The game doesn't even have to distract you. We are perfectly capable of distracting ourselves in the city.
🎲 The gacha is… surprisingly reasonable?
Now here's something I didn't expect to say about a gacha game: NTE's gacha feels pretty generous. The character banner doesn't have the usual 50/50 roulette wheel of emotional damage. There's a clear path toward getting the character you're actually after, and your pull count carries over to the next banner. Compared with some other games in the genre, it feels considerably less stressful. Does it still want your money? Of course. This is a gacha game. The wallet has been identified as a target. But at least it doesn't immediately feel like it's trying to put your descendants into debt.
🎰 And then we have the limited-event mystery boxes...
This is probably where I understand the criticism. The limited vehicle mystery boxes can definitely create FOMO. You see a beautiful new vehicle, realize it's only available for a limited time, look at your Fons, and suddenly your brain starts screaming: “WE NEED THEM. THEY'RE LEAVING SOON!” I can absolutely understand why some players find that pressure uncomfortable. At the same time, though, I don't think the vehicles are essential. Are they cool? Absolutely. Do I want them? Obviously. Will I be unable to enjoy NTE because I didn't get one? Nope. You can simply admire the current vehicle in the mystery box, say: “Maybe next time, when something fancier comes along that better matches my exquisite taste.” …and continue playing. Your character will survive. Your wallet might even send you a thank-you card.
⚠️ The other side effects
Yes, there's grinding. It's a gacha game. What did you expect? Free therapy after every boss fight? But honestly, compared with some other games in the genre, I find NTE's grind pretty manageable. You'll farm. You'll repeat things. You'll occasionally question your life choices. But it hasn't quite reached the: “Congratulations, you've accidentally acquired a second job.” There are also quite a few systems to learn, which can feel overwhelming at first. Characters, upgrades, currencies, cars, activities... At some point you might wonder: “Am I playing an RPG or running a small corporation?”
👨🦱 One thing I really wish they'd change...
NTE, we need to talk about the male characters. I know you can make attractive men. I've seen the evidence. So why are you keeping them on a part-time contract? I'd genuinely like to see a more balanced male/female roster. Character variety matters, especially in a game built around collecting characters. Hethereau already has anomalies, supernatural disasters, and questionable driving. It apparently also has a male population crisis. Someone call the census department.
🎯 So who is NTE actually for?
If you like anime RPGs, open worlds, character collecting, flashy combat, cars, exploration, side activities, and games that constantly distract you from whatever you were supposed to be doing... NTE might be dangerously compatible with your personality. It's especially for the kind of gamer who sees an open-world game and thinks: “Forget the main quest. I wonder what's behind that building?” If that's you, welcome to Hethereau. Your quest can wait. 🚗💨
It’s good and quite pleasant, and despite the fact that it still has some bugs, the product is very enjoyable to use. The game is like GTA and Genshin rolled into one. Even though the game has only 1.2, it already has as much content as any other game in its genre.
Relaxante, divertido, viciante, gacha generoso, lindo e bem otimizado, um ótimo jogo
NOTE TO SELF: Always check to make sure the game has the unbelievably-simple-to-implement option to invert the y-axis BEFORE wasting 70GB of bandwidth :-(
