About
NTE is a supernatural open-world RPG developed by Hotta Studio. The story begins in the city of Hethereau, where you play as its first "unlicensed" Anomaly Hunter. You'll join the crew at Eibon, a rundown antique shop that keeps the lights on by taking Anomaly commissions from anyone willing to pay. Alongside a diverse cast of extraordinary companions, you'll unravel urban mysteries, ride out adventures full of laughs and heartbreak, and write your own stories in the neon-lit streets.
Welcome to the first stop in your appraisal career—Hethereau, a sprawling and vibrant metropolis!
In the crowded halls of the Bureau of Anomaly Control, hopeful Oddities queue up for resident permits, while over at the train station, an Esper commuter snaps his fingers to clean his work suit on the fly. Down one block, a chaotic chase after Danzaburou is spiraling out of control; while across the street, a vacationing silver-gloved Butler is shooting the breeze with the owner of a second-hand electronics shop. Everywhere you look, there's no shortage of intriguingly "abnormal" scenes.
Want to dive deeper into a world where humans and the supernatural coexist? Start your journey in Hethereau to see it for yourself. The lively and quirky daily life here is a grand adventure in itself.

It's literally so beautiful, 10/10 :sob:
내 씹덕 게임 입문작이자 인생작 맵 돌아다니기만 해도 시간 잘 가고 도시 컨셉에 맞춘 즐길 거리도 많아서 아주 좋음 캐릭터 코디 빼고는 모든 점에서 높은 점수 줄 수 있음 +지금까지 나온 소식으로만 봐선 아난타한테 밀릴 것 같은데 그래도 1년은 채울 듯

great game, love 999 nights
I've never played a Gacha game for more than about 5 minutes. For some reason this one has stuck and I'm really enjoying it. I've spent nothing in the game, and I don't really feel like I'm missing out on anything. That's at about 10 hours into the game, which isn't very far considering how deep these games go, but for what its worth it is really friendly for people who just want to play it. I still don't understand half the events and systems... but its ok. The tutorials are generally very good once you get past the idea of all of currencies. I used Google to help figuring out some of the basics, but once I got a handle on it I started doing ok. I also don't really use most of these xp booster items... I have no idea if I should or shouldn't. I got one cool top tier character by chance, which was neat. What keeps me in this game though is the polish. The city looks incredible, and the detail they put in to everything is really quite something. Driving in the rain and people on the street are rushing to their destinations trying to get out of the rain... the random things you can just see driving around.. and the music while driving... it's all just done so well. The combat is fluid and fun, and starts getting harder once you've built up some levels. That said it isn't terribly difficult, and you can mostly button spam through it. That said, if you pay attention there's actually a lot of nuance to the abilities and synergies your team can have, and that makes it feel much deeper. So far I've got a business open and I own an apartment, so that's cool. There's tons of others you can purchase as well as you move through the game. My biggest gripe is that one of the characters in particular who features prominently in many of the quests is the most annoying, stupid little thing I've seen in a while (Taygedo). I groan every time I have to do a quest centered around him. So cheesy and cringe.. That said, once I get through that the other quests are fine and the rest of the characters are fine. Anyway I was really surprised at how much I've enjoyed this game at 10 hours in, and I'm definitely going to keep playing it to unlock more of these city systems and see how things develop in the story.
Devs rushed this game out of the door to try to beat Ananta and GTA 6 and it shows, from completely broken features, stolen concepts and literal stolen artwork (AI) this game is a true mess. Quite literally going out of their way to steal from every 3d gacha currently on the market and somehow making it WORSE in every single way. Wuwa parry? Gl doesn't work 80% of the time, Iframes on skills and ults? Lol no they didn't want to steal that QoL for some reason, instead you get hit constantly during animations. Wall running? Nope stole the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ system from Genshin instead, but don't worry they made a character they can sell you that does exactly what Wuwa's wall run actually does. Let's go ahead an talk about how the devs actively use AI in every aspect of this game. They have been caught numerous times now using a FREE AI tool, leaving watermarks all over "their" works, ranging from art assets littering the city to the actual character's themselves. They use their FREE AI for the premium paid skins in the game that they charge over $20 for, let that sink in. Not only that, the city chores they have reek of AI slop, half assed and barely functional, almost like it was put through chatgpt and left as is. Monetization is egregious, and they fully utilized FOMO to it's absolute limit. Every single patch they have a lootbox that costs upwards of 20m+ Fons (in game "free" currency), which you can't get enough of within the time period these boxes run, requiring you to waste premium pull currency or to swipe. Did I mention the game has 4+ skins EVERY single patch? QA? Funny, they don't have a QA team. Every patch is riddled with game breaking bugs, literally NO localization (we had npcs speaking Chinese for two whole weeks before they finally did anything about it, unaccessible parts of the city left quite literally half built and broken using their procedural world generation, there are parts of the maps where npcs are driving on air, roads just existing in the air etc. Balance, what balance? They went from the typical gacha slop hp formula for the first two patches, then 1.3 came around and they inflated the HP to unprecedent levels. I have quite literally never seen a gacha inflate the HP so much within such a short period of time, it's actually disgusting. Couple that with the dogwater combat, attacks that are suppose to AUTO TARGET that miss, bosses that constantly run away like giant ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to waste time and you got one of the worse combat experiences on the 3d gacha market. Create the problem, sell the solution via AI the game. Avoid these devs and this game at all costs.
loads a fun but I wont spoil anything
