About
NTE is a supernatural open-world RPG developed by Hotta Studio. The story begins in the city of Hethereau, where you play as its first "unlicensed" Anomaly Hunter. You'll join the crew at Eibon, a rundown antique shop that keeps the lights on by taking Anomaly commissions from anyone willing to pay. Alongside a diverse cast of extraordinary companions, you'll unravel urban mysteries, ride out adventures full of laughs and heartbreak, and write your own stories in the neon-lit streets.
◆ Strange City, Strange Adventures
Welcome to the first stop in your appraisal career—Hethereau, a sprawling and vibrant metropolis!
In the crowded halls of the Bureau of Anomaly Control, hopeful Oddities queue up for resident permits, while over at the train station, an Esper commuter snaps his fingers to clean his work suit on the fly. Down one block, a chaotic chase after Danzaburou is spiraling out of control; while across the street, a vacationing silver-gloved Butler is shooting the breeze with the owner of a second-hand electronics shop. Everywhere you look, there's no shortage of intriguingly "abnormal" scenes.
Want to dive deeper into a world where humans and the supernatural coexist? Start your journey in Hethereau to see it for yourself. The lively and quirky daily life here is a grand adventure in itself.

Reviews
Combat is definitely not the best in its genre, but everything else is pretty great, has a lot of side activities to do, and if you are looking for an open world gacha game, I would easily recommend this game. Game has the soul of GTA in the body of Genshin Impact.
Everything I hoped ZZZ (Zenless Zone Zero) would be on launch, and more.
Don't get me wrong, ZZZ is still one of my favorite action games, but when it was first announced, this is what I thought it would be, anime GTA x SCP/Control. First, addressing the discourse you might have heard. They minimally used some AI generated pictures/short videos for some in game 'ads', which they've already addressed and you barely even notice (like 0.01% of a 99.99% complete game). The devs/Hotta Studio have definitely done their homework and it shows (in a good way), you can see and feel inspirations/mechanics from other major gacha games but with own twist to feel unique. The characters are all so animated and lovable and the story is already pretty good/decent so far. On top of that, will all the knowledge and experience they accrued from their last flagship game, Tower of Fantasy, which if you played past 1.0/the first world/region, they are pretty much experts at making huge, pretty, fantastical worlds/areas filled with things to do, and it's filled with so many QoLs (quality of life) you wish were in the other gacha games too. As for the elephant in the room, the gacha (which a fun, silly board game), it's quite possibly the best/most forgiving one on the market, so good in fact, the 'roll' currency isn't the most valuable resource (it's Fons/regular in game curreny, you always need Fons), no 50/50, if you roll a 5-star on the current banner ('hard pity' is at 90), it's the character you want, period. For the 'weapon' banner, running on it's own currency, there's pretty much countless ways to get it in game it's even less of a concern. Please, please, please give this game a try.
